He was the son of Jo hn Tielemans and Johanna/Anna M. Van Lieshout. Both John and Anna were bo rn in the Netherlands, according to census records. I'm searching for the ir marriage record and their death dates. John Adrian gave the name of h is parents in his marriage record.I recently found an excerpt from the book entitled WOODEN SHOE TRAIL S. An early immigrant from Holland to Wisconsin, John Verboort, had writt en a letter describing the trip made in 1848 on the ship Libra. He made r eference to 'Johannes Tillemans and his fiance'. The ship's passenger li st has a J. Tielemans, age 28, farmer as well as an Anna Maria Lieshou t, no age given. Are there any newspaper films with papers from the ar ea in the early 1900s? Perhaps an obituary can be found. Anna was sti ll living in 1900 in Buchanan, aged 81. She gave her birth date as Nov 18 18 and gave the year 1848 as her date of arrival in the US. John was sti ll living in 1880.We're planning a trip to Little Chute in September. Any advice or recomme ndations as to where to stay and where to look for information would certa inly be appreciated.

I'm sorry, but it took t he entire day for us to go through the records to check on the marriage, d eath and baptismal records for the Tillmans. There was another couple the re and we had the smaller readers in the morning which made the fiche ev en more difficult to read.We found John/Johannes Tillemans/Tielemans probate record (UWGB) as we ll as his and Anna's marriage record, death records and the baptismal reco rds for 8 of their 9 children.Their tombstone is located near a Wipolt, Dick didn't write the given na me on the little diagram he drew, however. The tombstone read; John Till emans Born in Holland May 10 1821 Came to Kaukauna May 1848 Died Oct 2 189 2. The other side read; Anna Maria Wife of John Tillemans Born in Holla nd Nov 15, 1818 Came to Kaukauna in May 1848. The graves were in the Ho ly Cross Cemetery. They were married by Father Van den Broek July 15, 18 48 in Little Chute. Their death records were in the Holy Cross record s. Anna actually died in Eagle River, Vilas County where she was living w ith her son Anton and family. Her funeral was two days later in Kaukaun a. I'm still in the process of going through copies, organizing and th en will scan and transcribe. It's been a long time since I took Latin, h owever, so it may take some time.I'll send the children's infor with the names of spouses. I didn't have t ime to get all of their marriage records. One was in Outagamie County rec ords and another was given in John's probate record. I will probably ju st send a request for those. We certainly enjoyed our time there and I hope to go back soon. I was very excited to read about the windmill and visitors center.
In 2003, my husband and I traveled to Wisconsin to see if we could find anything on his family. I had gone through census records and knew where they had settled and names, but really had found nothing else to give us a clue about birth or death dates. I thought perhaps the J. Tielmans and Anna Maria Lieshout listed on the passenger list of the Libra might be my husband's family. As it turned out, they were. We went to the courthouse, to the cemetery and to the Catholic Church Archives and were able to find their marriage record, probate records, birth and death records for both John and Anna and Baptismal records for their nine children. Both John and Anna are buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
I haven't been researching this line since that time. However, two years ago, I did take all the records to a Tillman family reunion in Milbank, SD. Eighty-five members of the Raphael Hubert Tillman family attended. Ray was a son of John Adrian Tillman, born in 1851 to John and Anna. This year, the family is gathering to celebrate the 90th Birthday of Gerald Tillman, oldest living son of Ray and Mae Tillman. They will all be excited to learn of the windmill and visitors center.
I look forward to visiting the area again soon. I will download the application and also join the Historical Society so we can keep up with the events.

from WOODEN SHOE TRAILS Like the Jacobs, the Kuipers came from Holland, but a year earlier. From a book called "Wooden Shoes West" by Rev. Scott Vandehey, I have copied in most part, an account of the beginning of the emigration of the people from Holland to Wisconsin. EMIGRATION " Catholics in southeastern Holland were already talking seriously of emigration to America in 1846. At the time, unemployment was estimated at27 percent. Along with the lack of jobs, taxes and rent were too high, farms were small and many of the families were large in numbers. On March 3, 1847, a Dutch priest by the name of Father Theodore van den Broek took leave from Green Bay to return to Holland to settle his family estate at the death of his mother in Amsterdam. Father Theodore, in his mid-sixties at the time, had been born in Amsterdam in 1683 and ordained at twenty-four during the reign of Good King Louis. After serving the Catholics in the Province of North Brabant for twenty-five years as a Dominican priest, he obtained permission to do missionary work in America at the age of forty-nine. Arriving in America in 1832, he was assigned to serve various German communities, after which time the Bishop of Michigan sent him to his Green Bay mission where he arrived on July 4, 1854. Two years later he founded St. John Nepomicene Parish at Little Chute, which he named after the Cathedral of s' Hertogenbosch where he had spent his earlier ministry. When he returned to Holland, he found out that the official in charge of his mother's estate had absconded with the funds. He was relying on this inheritance to help bring poor families back to America who might not have enough resources to pay their own way. Although very disappointed, he decided to continue his plan to bring his countrymen to the United States. On August 10, 1847 he placed an open letter addressed to his "Roman Catholic Countrymen", in the Catholic weekly newspaper in Amsterdam. The following is a part of the letter: " In the region where he (van den Broek) lives, last year a sawmill and grist mill have been constructed. Before long a monastery and a seminary will be established there. The land may be had from the American government for three guilders per acre. Four hundred families could easily be accommodated and find support. If all of these were Catholics, then the foundation would be laid for an excellent Roman Catholic colony." As Father Theodore van den Broek visited among his old friends in the Province of North Brabant, he shared his vision about a Catholic colony in a land where timber and land were abundant, employment was promised and where improved markets would bring great accessibility to market. The Catholic emigration of the 'zandboren', that is the 'sand farmers', from the communities mainly of Uden, Zeeland, Boekel and Voekel in east Brabant in the spring of 1848, was principally the work of one of those farmers, Cornelius van de Hei. He convinced his fellow countrymen that the emigration to America was worthwhile. Father van den Broek stated that if enough people signed up, it would cost fifty-six guilders per person for the trip, not counting food. Before long Cornelius mustered 9,000 guilders for the passage of 160 people. He and Nicolaas Denessen, dressed as factory workers walked to Amsterdam with the money. It was wrapped in a sack and carried on a long stick over the shoulder. When they arrived in Nijmegen they stopped at the bridge where Cornelius left the treasure with his companion, while he went into town. While he was gone, Nicolas became interested in the Jan Klaassen wooden puppet show a short distance away and left the money on the bridge without guard. Cornelius returned just in time and was upset by the carelessness of his friend and the journey continued. It was already dark when they arrived in Amsterdam and since they knew neither the street nor the number where Father van den Broek stayed, they went to the police station and received the information. A map would show the one way trip to have been around seventy miles via the way of the crow. Once they returned home they would celebrate St. Nicholas and Christmas in their traditional ways knowing all the while it would be the last one in their fatherland. March was departure time for over three hundred emigrants, mainly from the sand farms in east Brabant. They were given a day to rendezvous in Rotterdam. There were two routes to the main waterways to get to the Maas River which flowed into Rotterdam. Those in Zeeland, and to the north including the villages of Oss, Grave, Shaick and Cyk traveled north. For the thirty-nine leaving from Zeeland in early March, the route followed the sandy, narrow road north. They started in the early morning, passed through the villages of Reek, Over angel and Neerloon to Ravenstein. Each of these small villages looked much alike with their long rectangular houses close together around a towering church with a clock face in the steeple. There in Ravenstein along the harbor, they packed their meager belongings onto a boat and followed the seaward flowing current. It would have taken a full day on this river of some 100 yards width to reach Rotterdam where they spent the night and awaited further instructions. Those departing from Uden, Boekel and Volkel traveled southeast to the village of Vechel and took the William's Canal north to the Maas. They passed through the then largest city in North Brabant, s'Hertogenbosch. The city was then a center of trade and had once been fortified. It's famous cathedral of St. John's, which had taken over 200 years to build, had to have been breath-taking even for the departing sand farmers. They left Volkel on March 9, 1848. Their baggage was brought to Vechel by wagon. From there they traveled by canal boat to s'Hertogenbosch from which their boat was pulled to Rotterdam where, on March 10, they boarded. They set sail in three ships, chartered from the Hugo and Plokhuizensailing firm in Rotterdam. 'These ships were called barks--a small sailing ship; three-masted, propelled by sails or oars. The names of these three ships were the Maria Magdalena, the America, and the Libra.' According to John Verboort, who was fourteen at the time, the Libra was the first to depart. In a letter written some years later he describes the preparations and the trip: ' We were thirteen families, all Hollanders, Pather Godhart was our leader. The captain and sailors of our ship also were Hollanders. I have forgotten the exact number of emigrants on board the Libra, but it was about 80 persons. The following are the names of the heads of these families. Hans Klassens, from Grave; Martinus Verkuilen, from Uden; HeinGroens, from Volkel; Niklaas Dennison, from Yolkel; Antoon Verkampen, from Volkel; Antoon Verwijet, from Uden; Mr. Denkboom, from Amsterdam; Albert van den Berg, from Cuyk; Ebben, from Mill; Johannes Tillemans and fiance Johanna 'Anna' Marie van Lieshout from Boekel; Jan Verboort, from Volkel, and two youths reckoned as belonging to the Verkampen family. We spent several days at Rotterdam on board the Libra in order to purchase food and other necessaries, for in those days each passenger had to buy his own provisions, and the captain was not allow to accept any passenger who had not complied with prescribed regulations. Everything was carefully weighed, a number was put on each passenger's bag or package which the captain put under lock so that later, according to the ship's rules, a fixed daily portion could be doled out. Passengers were not permitted to use as much of their provisions as they wished, but only as much as the captain allowed, in accordance with the rules. A small amount of drinking water was portioned out each day. The passengers, however, did not have to provide their own drinking water; this the shipping company brought on board at Rotterdam. When everything was in readiness, the Libra left Rotterdam. At first our boat was drawn (by another boat), later it was pulled by horses to Hellevoeteluis. There were at the moment of our departure from Rotterdam two other ships with emigrants ready to leave for America. About these ships I know little, so I shall say nothing about them. Ours was the first of the three to depart; it also was the first to arrive at its destination. We encountered our first storm in the English Channel. The captain, as a measure of precaution, took refuge for three days in an English harbor. I believe it was the Isle of Wight. Later we had other serious storms, the worst being, if I recall accurately, on Easter Sunday (April 11). It lasted three days and blew so violently that the hatches were closed and only a small space was allowed the passengers to go on deck when necessary. Sails were furled, but accidents could not be prevented. Just before the storm struck we could count about fifty ships around us, but as soon as the storm began to blow, not a single ship could be seen anymore. Except for this storm nothing noteworthy happened on the voyage which was tedious but, considering time and circumstances, tolerable. After a voyage of 52 days we arrived safely at the dock in Boston on Friday, May 5. The next day we left by train in boxcars for Buffalo. Three of the thirteen families stayed in Boston; Denkboom, who did not want to travel farther; Antoon Verkampen and Antoon Verwijet who did not have the money to travel farther; and Denessen stayed in Buffalo because his wife was sick and died. We sailed from Buffalo to Mackinac Island where we stayed three days until we could get a sailing ship for Green Bay. From there we proceeded up the Fox River by scow or flatboat propelled by six men who used poles. This took two entire days. From Kaukauna we were brought in two wagons, drawn by six oxen, to Little Chute where we arrived on 22 May. There we rested and laid plans for the future." Dolores Vanden Oever, age 77, of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 10, 1934 in Combined Locks, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Jusko) Menting. On April 12, 1955, she married Richard Vanden Oever at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. Dolores was involved in the restaurant business at the Village Inn, the Kimberly Mill and then McDonalds. Over the years, she enjoyed the cottage in Woodruff, the Packers and Brewers and was an amazing seamstress.
Dolores is survived by her sons: Rick (Nancy) Vanden Oever, Kaukauna; John (Amy) Vanden Oever, Kimberly; daughters: Jean (Randy) Hermes, Kimberly and Barbara Smith, Green Bay; five grandchildren: Robert Schmelzer, Georgia; John Vanden Oever, Jr. Eric Vanden Oever and Dakota Hermes, all of Kimberly and Chris Brown, West Virginia; two great grandchildren; sister: Shirley Van Berkel, Combined Locks and brother-in-law: Ken (Carol) Gutowski, Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Vanden Oever; sister: Elaine Gutowski; brother: Dennis Menting and brother-in-law: George Van Berkel.
The funeral liturgy for Dolores will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 20, 2012 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue. Fr. David Beaudry will be officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Elizabeth M. DeBroux "Betty", age 76, of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home. Betty was born on November 20, 1929, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Menting) Revoir. On October 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Wilfred "Bill" De Broux, the couple later divorced. Betty was a cook at Marty's Place for 23 years.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Russ DeBroux, Little Chute; a niece, Shelly (Bruce) Zeinert, Little Chute; former husband: Bill DeBroux; sister-in-law, Jane Revoir, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers: David, Paul, Ernest, Donald; sisters: Katherine, Marlene; and a special friend, Jim.
A memorial service for Betty will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home (204 East Kimberly Avenue) with Sister Annette Koss officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Gerald P. Menting, of Neenah, age 67 years, passed away on November 28, 2006, at Cherry Meadows, surrounded by his loving family after a long struggle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1939, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Peter and Agnes (Van Dalen) Menting. Jerry retired from Inter Lake Mill in Kimberly after working for 44 years. He was an avid golfer, spending many hours playing the game he loved.
Jerry is survived by his brothers: Jim (Barb), Jeff (Kathie) and Rick (Dawn) Menting; sisters: LaVerne (Steve) Kuepper and Sandy (Tom) Konen and the daughter in Jerry's heart Mora Mangiameli and her family. James P. Menting, age 67, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 19, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born March 19, 1943, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Peter and Agnes (Van Dalen) Menting. On August 24, 1963, Jim was united in marriage to Barbara Malsavage at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. Jim was employed at U.S. Oil Company for 25 years until his retirement in 1999. He especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family at Evergreen Campsites in Wild Rose. He enjoyed working with his hands and was considered by many to be an expert at his craft.
Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Barb; his children and their spouses: Mark (Michelle) Menting, Hortonville; Nea (Wayne) Lamers, Little Chute; and grandsons: Logan and Cross Menting and Adam and Brady Lamers; sisters: LaVerne (Steve) Kuepper, Kimberly; Sandy (Tom) Konen, Michigan; brothers: Jeff (Kathie) Menting, Kimberly, Rick (Dawn) Menting, Neenah and their families; brother-in-law, Butch (Mary) Malsavage, Kimberly; sister-in-law, Robin (Lon) Rupnow, Neenah and their families.

Rick J. Menting, age 57, of Neenah went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. He was called from his home, unexpectedly. He was born on July 20, 1958 in Combined Locks, Wisconsin, son of the late Peter C. and Agnes M. (Van Dalen) Menting. Rick married Dawn G. Sheldon on June 23, 1979 in Appleton. Their marriage was blessed with two beautiful daughters and 36 wonderful years. Rick loved working at Pfefferle Property Management for the past 13 years. Rick loved spending time with those he loved. He was always sure to make his family feel supported. Rick loved spending summers at Evergreen Campground, completing projects, and being surrounded by friends. He also enjoyed shooting at the range, playing golf, and watching sports with Trey. Rick was a man who was willing to fix anything. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Edward "Ed" Gene Menting, age 60, Suring, formerly of Mountain passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Edward was born September 13, 1950 to the late Edward and Harriet (Van Roy) Menting. Ed married Donna Reitz in 1970, and she preceded him in death in 1998. The couple moved to Mountain in 1980.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Brenda (TJ) Schrank of Mountain; his 2 grandchildren, Jessie and Cody; his brother, Gary (Caroline) Menting of Darboy.

Eunice M. Kuehl, 73, Suring formerly of Sherwood, passed away at home on Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was born November 20, 1938, to the late Leo and Marie (Van Roy) Menting. Eunice Menting married Kenneth E. Kuehl on September 3, 1955, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Eunice ran the farm in Sherwood with Ken from 1966 to 1983. They owned and operated Kuehl's Red Arrow Resort on Anderson Lake from 1983 until retirement in 2000.
Eunice was a loving wife and mother, she enjoyed knitting and cooking, her specialty was making large amounts of sauer kraut and hocks. She will be greatly remembered for her intoxicating fruit cakes. Eunice faithfully attended St. Michael's Catholic Church Chapel where she was a member.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth of Suring; three daughters, Kasandra (Rick) Ott of Gillett; Karol Kuehl Koeck (special friend Butch) of Brillion; Karlyn (Keith) Pennings of Navarino; four sons, Kendall (special friend, Amy), Leonard (Kathy) Menting of Darboy; Karl (Ann) Kuehl of Colby; Kory (Nixi) Kuehl of Suring; six brothers, Tom (Eva) Menting, Roger (Kay) Menting, Lee (Connie) Menting, Bernard (Karen) Menting, Leroy (Debbie) Menting, Leonard (Kathy) Menting; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two more blessings to come.
She will be greeted at the gates of Heaven by her daughter, Kitty Marie. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Menting; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Krystal.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home on Monday, October 15, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with Father Michael Betley officiating. Bradley S. "Buford" Menting, age 47 of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2015 at his home. Buford was born on September 10, 1968, the younger of two boys, to Joan (Nickel) Menting and the late Dennis Menting. Buford was a 1987 graduate of Kimberly High School. He was a former employee of Butch's Pizza, J.J. Security and most recently at Menard's in Appleton. Buford enjoyed family gatherings, working on his computer and playing computer and video games. He had a soft spot for kids and was always thrilled when the "Little Ones" would visit.
He will be sadly missed by his mother Joan, his brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Louisa Menting of Appleton, nieces: Nicole (Eric) Vaughan of Appleton; Kathleen (fiancé Zak Bartotto) Menting of Oshkosh, nephew Michael J. Menting of Appleton, great niece and great nephews: Hailee, Domenic and Zander as well as many other relatives and friends. He was also looking forward to the arrival of a new great niece and great nephew in April.

Lynn M. Eickhoff, 62, of Darboy, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 surrounded by her family. Lynn was born on December 19, 1949 to Ernest and Grace (Verstagen) Revoir. She married Dennis Eickhoff on October 2, 1970 at St. John Catholic Church. While working Lynn spent for many years in the insurance field. She always enjoyed her family, friends and her social gatherings with the neighbors, including Packer parties. In her younger years she was a very avid boater and was the president and secretary of the Fox Valley Friendship Boat Club. Lynn enjoyed playing cribbage and organized many leagues. Lynn's family was the most important thing to her and she always enjoyed bringing everyone together. She was a great cook with many special recipes. Lynn was very proud of her children's accomplishments, and she was looking forward to her daughter's wedding.
Lynn is survived by her husband Dennis Eickhoff, her children; Sarah (fiancée Terry Smith) Eickhoff of Menasha, and Eric Eickhoff of Appleton, two grandchildren, Alexis and Jordan Smith, her brother Steve (fiancée Carol Brick) Revoir, her sister Peggy (Jeff) Mader. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law; Kirk (Linda) Eickhoff, Tim (Lindsey) Eickhoff, a sister-in-law, Mary (Bob) Brumm, a special friend, Peggy Feldkamp, many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.

Russell Steven Kuepper, 56, of Minocqua, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on January 18, 1958 in Kimberly, WI to LaVerne (Menting) and the late Stephen Kuepper, Jr.
On August 10, 2012, Russ wed Christine (Richardson) Kuchler in Minocqua, WI. Together, they shared their passion for the outdoors….camping, motorcycling, snowshoeing and fishing. Russ was also an avid hunter and enjoyed deer hunting with his sons.
Russ truly had a gift when it came to photography. He especially enjoyed taking pictures of nature and wildlife. This talent, along with his creativity, was the foundation for his business, "Diverse Design Group." Russ was also recently employed at Allied 100 as a graphic designer.
Russ loved his wife and family unconditionally. He was very proud of his children and was looking forward to taking Chris and his two sons to Alaska this coming summer for his eldest son's wedding.

Mark J. Menting, age 47, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center from complications due to diabetes. He was born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, on July 7, 1964, son of James P. and Barbara (Malsavage) Menting. On March 18, 2001, Mark married Michelle Anderson in St. Petersburg, Florida. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1983 and later attended Fox Valley Technical College, taking classes in Diesel Mechanics, HVAC, and Police Science. Mark worked for many years in HVAC, retiring in 2009 due to illness. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping with his sons, Logan and Cross. Mark also coached a number of youth sports in Hortonville.
He is survived by his wife: Michelle; two sons: Logan and Cross of Hortonville; his mother: Barbara (Malsavage) Menting of Kimberly; a sister: Nea (Wayne) Lamers, and their sons Adam and Brady of Little Chute; his mother-in-law: Nancy Anderson of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law: Debbie (Rod) Lange and Carla (Rick) Heider, both of Green Bay: a brother-in-law: Todd Anderson of Florence, Wisconsin; and special family members, Sharon and Karl Atkinson. Mark was preceded in death by his father, James P. Menting in 2010; his father-in-law: Eugene Anderson; an aunt, Kay (Malsavage) Benotch; paternal and maternal grandparents; along with other aunts and uncles.

Amy Marie (Vandenberg) Merckx, 39, passed away on Jan. 1, 2009, surrounded by her family. We lost our hero. Amy was an example for all of us to follow. Despite many years of illness, Amy led a courageous and generous life, always thinking of others. No matter what life dealt her, she faced it with courage and defiance. Amy was an inspiration to all who met her and loved her.
Amy was born Feb. 13, 1969, in Appleton, to Lyle and Karen (Menting) Vandenberg. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Kimberly High School, Class of 1987. On May 8, 1993, Amy was united in marriage to Paul G. Merckx at Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly. She always took great joy in cooking and baking meals for her family and friends. Amy often spent countless hours baking goods that both her children took to school. She also enjoyed summer camping trips with her family and parents at Boulder Lake.
Amy talked often about her job and the people she worked with. To all the people from Kohl's Department Store, Darboy, she talked about you as if you were her family. The kindness that all of you have shown over the years really meant a lot to Amy and her family. Thank you will never be enough. Words cannot express our family's gratitude to all the workers for everything that has been given.
In addition to her husband, Paul, and her parents, Lyle and Karen of Combined Locks, Amy is survived by her two wonderful children, Amanda and Mason; her brother, Lance (Jill) Vandenberg, Freedom, and their children, Bailee and Bryce; her paternal grandfather, Leo H. Dylan James Zuleger, age 21, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his home with his family at his side.
Dylan was born May 1, 1992 in Neenah to Jennifer Alice Jahnke. He was a 2010 Appleton North High School graduate and was attending Fox Valley Technical College in Woodworking Manufacturing Technology. Dylan enjoyed golf, disc golf, music, going to concerts and spending time with his family and friends. Dylan was a total gamer, a true certified Pokemon Master. Dylan was a kind soul with an amazing attitude. He brought a smile to everyone he met and had a great sense of humor. Dylan was the first to help anyone, stranger or friend. He's been and will remain an inspiration to all he's touched. He'd want you to always remember: "Attitude Is Everything".

Age 21. Dylan waas born on May 1, 1992 and died on June 5, 2013.
He is survived by his father Russ (Veronica) Zuleger, stepsisters Amanda (Mike) Van Schyndel, Mackenzie (Tyler) Amerson, a stepbrother Travis Amerson. His aunts Peggy Fulcer Trejo, Ruth (Duane) Holden, His grandmother Judy Zuleger, and cousins Adam, Alex, and Jonathon.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Zuleger and stepbrother Timothy Amerson.
