Mrs. Elizabeth Weber, age 71, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday, September 8th, 1975 after a short illness. She was born August 31st, 1904 in Boyd Wisconsin. She served as a nurse's aide at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 21 years. Mrs. Weber was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clem (Geraldine) Wallace, of Darboy, and Miss Audrey Weber of Appleton; three sons Victor Weber of Appleton, Eugene Weber of Green Bay, and Kenneth Weber of Menasha; two brothers, Julius Thuecks of Boyd Wisconsin, and Clarence Thuecks, also of Boyd, Wisconsin; five sisters, Mrs. John (Catherine) Ryba, of Boyd, Mrs. Rosalie Proulx, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Harvey (Susie) Robinson, Cadott, Wisconsin, Miss Eleanor Thuecks and Miss Josephine Thuecks, both of Appleton. 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her parents, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. She was from a family of 12. There will be no visitation. The funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph's Church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. The family and the remains will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of the mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

She served as a nurse 's aide at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 21 years. Mrs. Weber was a memb er of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mr s. Clem (Geraldine) Wallace, of Darboy, and Miss Audrey Weber of Appleto n; three sons Victor Weber of Appleton, Eugene Weber of Green Bay, and Ken neth Weber of Menasha; two brothers, Julius Thuecks of Boyd Wisconsin, a nd Clarence Thuecks, also of Boyd, Wisconsin; five sisters, Mrs. John (Cat herine) Ryba, of Boyd, Mrs. Rosalie Proulx, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Harvey (S usie) Robinson, Cadott, Wisconsin, Miss Eleanor Thuecks and Miss Josephi ne Thuecks, both of Appleton. 21 grandchildren and one great grandchil d. Her parents, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death. S he was from a family of 12. There will be no visitation. The funeral Ma ss will be at St. Joseph's Church at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Josephine Thuecks, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Appleton Health Care Center. She was born in Boyd, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Klapperich) Thuecks. Josephine was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton, and the Quarter Century Club of Kimberly-Clark. She had worked at Kimberly-Clark, Badger Globe and Lakeview until her retirement.
Josephine is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Joseph (Loretta), Father Anthony, Michael (Nell), Clarence and Julius (Lillian) Thuecks; her sisters: Susan (Harvey) Robertson, Catherine (John) Ryba, Rosalie (John) Proulx, Lena Thuecks, Eleanor Thuecks and Elizabeth (Louis) Weber.
The funeral liturgy for Josephine will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton. Fr. Thomas J. Farrell will be officiating. She was employed as a knitting mill operator at Zwicker's Knitting mill from 1951 until her retirement in 1977. She will be well remembered for her love of card playing. Caroline M. Rettler, 85, Black Creek, passed away Nov. 25, 2007, in Appleton. She was born on June 8, 1922, to the late Arnold and Mary (Klapperick) Stephani. On June 6, 1942, Caroline was united in marriage to the late Milo Rettler. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2003. Together they farmed for 17 years in the Town of Black Creek. She left the farm in 1960 and entered private business with her husband running R & R Lanes in Black Creek for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Milo preceded her in death on May 10, 2003. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Black Creek and the Christian Mothers. Caroline cared for the prayer garden at the church for many years. Caroline enjoyed walking, especially with her favorite dog, Mickee. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Her true love was her family and she will be missed by many.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry (Sandy) Rettler, Black Creek; Sam (Mary) Rettler, Kaukauna; Bill (Maryann) Rettler, Black Creek; nine grandchildren, Paul, Todd, Melissa, Jaime, Brad, Tracy, Chad, Robby and C.J. She is further survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Ray Stephani; and five sisters, Pauline Weyenberg, Isabelle Fries, Marcella Rettler, Dorothy Martzahl, and Helen Murphy.

Kenneth A. Weber, age 72, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, with his dedicated family and friends at his side at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1935, son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Thuecks) Weber. Ken attended Appleton schools and graduated from Appleton West in 1954. He attended Milwaukee School of Engineering for two years. Ken was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary C. Schimek on September 12, 1959; together they raised five wonderful children: Tony, Linda, Paul, Scott, and Vicki. Ken and his family owned and operated Ken Weber Interiors, which was previously known as Heiman Furniture. Ken's life changed significantly in 1991 after the death of his son Paul at the young age of 27 due to brain cancer and his own open-heart surgery. He continued spending as much time with family as he could. They went on family vacations to Colorado, annual fishing trips to Canada, and especially loved the hunting trips with Lee Stevens and Tom Watry. They also hunted deer in "The Burg" Ogdensburg. Ken also went traveling abroad and went on cruises with friends where he had the opportunity to develop his skills of architecture and design. He had a wonderful gift of telling jokes and stories to anyone that would listen. His love and passion of photography was evident through endless family photo albums.
Ken is survived by his family, Mary C. Weber; his children: Tony (MaryLouise) Weber and their children: Tony Ray and Karly; Linda (Jim) Brown and their son Craig; Scott F. (Natalia) Weber; Vicki (Cornelius) Holt; and a special friend, Kathy; many pets; a brother, Victor (Julie) Weber; sisters-in-law: Carla (Chicky) Weber and Jane Weber; and many nieces, nephews; close friends: Dennis Schwersenska and Gary Wieden, with whom he looked forward to having his weekly lunches.
Ken was preceded in death by his son Paul; a sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Clem Wallace; a brother, Eugene Weber; and a sister, Audrey Weber.
For the past three years, Ken enjoyed living at Lakeside Commons in Menasha, where he was popular with the residents and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, with Deacon Jerry Cross officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
Ken's family wishes to thank his doctors and nurses for giving him a quality of life to the very end and with their dedication to health care for the living.

Blob, Maxine B. (Mrs. Bernar d)Blob, Maxine B. (Mrs. Bernard), Nee Utschig, Appleton, Age 86, died Wednes day December 15, 2004 at her home after a lengthy illness following a stro ke. Maxine was born December 23, 1917 in New Holstein to the late Albert a nd Hedwig Utschig, and has lived in Appleton her entire life. In 1939, s he was united in marriage to Bernard Blob at St. Therese Catholic Chur ch in Appleton. The couple enjoyed 62 years together until his death in 20 01. Maxine was a very devoted Catholic and a member for many years at Sacred H eart Catholic Church, where she belonged to The Christian Mothers and T he Legion of Mary. She also belonged to The National Catholic Society of F oresters. Maxine enjoyed cooking, especially chocolate cake for her grandc hildren. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her son James R. (Peggy) Blob, Appleton; her d aughter Mary T. Gloria Bego, 77, of Grand Rapids, MI, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2013.
She was born to the late Leonard and Dorothy Utschig, August 17, 1935, in Appleton, WI. Gloria graduated from St. Mary's High School in Appleton, WI. She attended Mount Mary College and graduated from Lawrence University in 1957. Upon graduating, Gloria moved to Michigan, where she taught elementary and high school education in both Clarkston and Birmingham. In 1960, she married Eugene (Gene) Bego and they have been married for 52 years. Gloria cherished her husband and best friend, Gene. A consummate mother and homemaker, she reveled in spending time with her five children, their spouses, and 12 grandchildren. She took joy in being with friends and, passionately volunteered in numerous community organizations. Gloria was an active sports enthusiast and particularly enjoyed her time playing golf and being in the outdoors. She also loved traveling, gardening, watching birds, cooking, and playing bridge. Gloria was fond of music and theater and in the early years performed in and directed numerous productions. Gloria had a very strong faith in God and loved the Lord. She was an active member of St. Hugo's Catholic Church of Bloomfield Hills and St. Robert of Newminster Parish of Ada, Michigan.
Gloria is survived by her husband, Gene and five children, Kathy Bego Schneider (husband, Jack and children, Henry, Karl, Clare, Leo, and Ben) of East Grand Rapids, MI; Chris Sturm (husband, Jim Sturm and children, Matt, John, and Dan) of Princeton, NJ; Greg Bego (wife, Tracy and children Kris and Kelsea) of Ada, MI; Jenn Coffman (son, Alex) of East Grand Rapids, MI; and Michael Bego (wife, Charlene, daughter, Ainsley and expected baby in July) of Greenwich, CT. She was born March 15, 1923, in Chilton, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Utschig) Salm. Esther married Harold J. "Pete" McHugh on December 30, 1942, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1990. Esther was a member of Good Shepherd Church, formerly St. Augustine Parish, and the Christian Women. She enjoyed playing sheepshead and belonged to several card clubs in the area. She also was fond of the time she spent at her exercise class she took at Fox Valley Tech in Chilton.
Survivors include her children: Mary Jane McHugh, Brookfield; Donald (Lou Ann) McHugh, Stoughton; three grandchildren: Jason (Marissa) McHugh, McFarland; Jeffrey McHugh, Stoughton; Kelly McHugh, Stoughton; a great-grandchild, Nola McHugh; and two sisters: Armella (John) Mangin, Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Marie (Del) Hammond, Bellevue, Ohio. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009, when the service will be held. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Esther C. McHugh.

LeRoy H. Utschig, 71, of Hubertus, WI, passed away January 14, 2012, after a courageous battle with Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis. LeRoy was born June 26, 1940, to Raymond and Rosetta (Brantmeier) Utschig and grew up on a dairy farm in St. John, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Gauthier); son, Brad (Michele), daughter, Lisa (Christopher) and grandsons: Ryan, Gavin and Nathan. LeRoy is also survived by his sister, Lois Zachek; brothers-in-law, Lester Nett (Laurel), Gene Gauthier (Mary), and Russell Matzke; sister-in-law, Rita Drewieske (John). LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elaine Nett; and sister-in-law, Joan Matzke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved pet, Taffi.
LeRoy spent over 50 years in the insurance business as an underwriter, educator, published writer of insurance articles, and expert witness in insurance. He was fully accredited in all aspects of insurance and was president of Utschig Insurance Publications, Inc.

Reuben Hoelzel, age 94, of Appleton, passed away early Tuesday, March 30, 2010, surrounded by his family. He was born March 9, 1916, to the late Joseph and Mary (Giesen) Hoelzel. On October 18, 1941, Reuben married Betty Scherer. Reuben was a very active man, involved in the Menasha Athletic Association and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Menasha, 1063. He served as the past State President of the Eagles and was currently the Treasurer. He was also a member of the Eagles of the Great Lakes and was inducted in the Eagles Hall of Fame in Madison after winning the Father of the Year Award within the Fraternity. Reuben was also an active member of St. Patrick's Parish in Menasha, where he served as captain of the usher team and ushered for 58 years.
In the years after the depression, Reuben drove a milk truck for Theils Cheese factory before working for John Strange Corp, managing the Menasha Eagles Club, owning the Horseshoe Bar in Menasha and eventually working for Menasha Corp., from which he retired in 1979.
In his free time, Reuben enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the casino, baseball, football, traveling, spending time in his flower garden, and was a big fan of Brett Favre.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Menasha with Father Larry Canavera officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons: James G. Meyers, Steven P. Meyers, Kevin Flowers, Scott Hoelzel, Brian Hoelzel, and David Hoelzel Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at church. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Reuben's name.

Francis A. Hoelzel, age 85 of Kaukauna WI passed away August 1, 2017. He was doing what he really loved, cutting hay in the swather. He was born May 15, 1932 in Stockbridge WI, son of Joe and Mary (Geisen) Hoelzel. On February 5, 1956 he married Cecilia Weiler in a double wedding along with siblings Edward Hoelzel and Julie Weiler. Francis and Cecilia enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Francis was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Francis and Cecilia farmed for many years until retirement in 1996. Despite being retired Francis enjoyed nothing better than helping his sons on the farms. Often he slowly drove around the country side to check on the fields and crops to make sure the boys were getting the work done. His many years of farming knowledge were very much appreciated. Francis loved fishing especially sturgeon spearing, hunting, playing cards and occasional gambling with friends and family. He enjoyed family gatherings with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Francis is survived by his wife, Cecilia, children: Joan (Tony) Kohl of Menasha, Dan (Sandy) Hoelzel of Kaukauna, Carla (Jim) Weber of Appleton, Peter (Lynn) Hoelzel of Kaukauna, Ken (Sherrie) Hoelzel of Kaukauna, Mark (Toni) Hoelzel of Kaukauna, and Paul (Ann) Hoelzel of Kaukauna. Gene was grateful for more than 20 fun retirement years filled with traveling with Donna, family, and numerous friends. He also enjoyed fishing, watching & feeding the eagles, pontoon boat rides, playing cards, golf, and softball.

Michael James (Mike) Stephani, age 69, of De Pere, WI died unexpectedly Saturday October 19, 2013. He was born in Freedom, WI to the late Ray and Mary (Hooyman) Stephani on June 22, 1944. Mike graduated from Abbot Pennings High School and St. Norbert College. He married his high school sweetheart, Janice (Weyers), and last month they celebrated fifty years of marriage. Mike was Treasurer of Gold Bond Ice Cream and most recently an organic farmer and owner of a small trucking company.
Mike was an avid Packer fan, farmer, sheepshead player, and Corvette lover. Most important to him was his family and the good help he had in the farming and trucking business. He loved spending time relaxing at their place in Lakewood.
Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his son Patrick (Sandra) and their children Matthew and Andrew; his daughter Kristine Hansen. He is further survived by his brother Frank (Sally), his sisters Mary Ellen Hofacker, Rosanne Hofacker, Cathy (Richard) Green and Ann (Rick) Weyenberg. Rosanne (Stephani) Hofacker, age 66, of Appleton, WI died unexpectedly Wednesday February 3, 2016. She was born in Green Bay, WI to the late Raymond and Mary (Hooyman) Stephani on May 5, 1949. Rosanne graduated from Freedom High School in 1967. She married Anthony Hofacker.
Rosanne's greatest joy was taking care of her family and her grandchildren. She loved cooking and paid great attention to detail, especially when talking about her grandchildren. She was employed by Cleanpower for 15 years and babysat her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Mike and Jim.
Rosanne was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her daughter Jodie (Mike) Schmitt and their children Sydney, Sadie, and Sophia; her son Jason (Cindy) Hofacker and their daughter Nicole; and her sons Jeremy Hofacker, Chad Hofacker, and Anthony Hofacker II.

James N. Rettler, 62, Black Creek, passed away Friday morning July 29, 2005 at Weyauwega Health Center. He was born August 5, 1942 son of Marcella (Stephani) Rettler and the late Jerome Rettler. On December 16, 1972, he was united in marriage to Catherine Schroeder.
Jim was a proud member of the Operating Engineers local 139 since 1964. He was a long time member of the Black Creek Fire Department. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. He was an Army Reserve veteran and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek.
A loving son, husband, father and grandfather is survived by his wife, Cathy, his children: Nicholas (Allison), Kaukauna; Jesse, Black Creek; and Jodi Marie Rettler, Black Creek. Three grandchildren: Alex, Darian, and Nichole and one soon to be granddaughter. Also surviving is his mother Marcella, Black Creek; sisters: Dorothy (Bill) Paltzer and Gloria Krueger of Black Creek; brothers: Dan (Sheri), Duane (Joyce), Steve (Nancy), all of Black Creek; and Dave (special friend Kris) Seymour; and Dick (JoAnn), Menasha; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Shirley Siewert, Donna Shepard, Fred (Kathy) Schroeder, Larry (Margaret) Schroeder, Joann (Roland) Gasser, Bill (Cindy) Schroeder, Dennis (Pat) Schroeder, Pat (Lyle) Shepard, Diane (David) Bunnell and Rick (Carol) Schroeder. A sister-in-law, Carol, Black Creek. Numerous nieces and nephews and God Children.
James was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph and a nephew, Scott, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred and Marie Schroeder and three brothers-in-law: John VanDenBogart, Merton Shepard and William Siewart.
Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek on Monday from 3 p.m. until funeral services at 7 p.m. with Fr. Theodore Hendericks officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home Seymour is assisting the family. A memorial fund has been established.

David R. Rettler, age 58, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday night, August 25, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. He was born September 18, 1950, to the late Jerome and Marcella (Stephani) Rettler. Dave was a graduate of Seymour High School and Navy Vietnam Veteran. For 27 years he owned and operated Dave's Tavern in Black Creek.
He was a Black Creek American Legion and VFW member. He was also a member of the Wisconsin Tavern League. Dave was an avid Packers and Badgers fan, enjoyed riding his bike and especially time spent with his grandchildren at the camper.
Survivors include his special friend Kris Kimball; his children, Denae Rettler, and her children, Kyle and Josh; Geri Lynn Rettler (special friend Jody Vanevenhoven); sisters and brothers: Dorothy (Bill) Paltzer, Black Creek; Daniel (Sheri) Rettler, Black Creek; Duane (Joyce) Rettler, Black Creek; Gloria Krueger, Black Creek; Steven (Nancy) Rettler, Black Creek; Richard (JoAnn) Rettler, Menasha; sister-in-law, Cathy Rettler, Black Creek; friend Carol Rettler; and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Jim, infant brother Joseph, and a nephew Scott Rettler.

Black Creek - Terry Lee Rettler age 74 passed away at his home on March 14, 2018.
Terry was born August 30, 1943, the first child of Mile and Caroline (Stephani) Rettler. Terry was a 1961 graduate of Seymour High School. One June 24, 1967, he was united in marriage to Sandy Kitzman. Terry worked at O.J. Boldt Construction, served on the Black Creek Village board for 15 years and served in the Army National Guard. Terry was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, WI.
Terry will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Sandy; son, Todd (Melissa) Rettler; daughter, Tracy (Chris) Prilepp; granddaughters: Brianna Prilepp, Kira and Hannah Rettler; grandson, Braeden Prilepp; brothers: Sam (Mary) Rettler, Bill (Maryann) Rettler, brother-in-law, Robert (Sharon) Kitzman; sisters-in- law: Bonnie (Terry) McDermott, Nancy (Dennis) Hack, Debbie (Chuck) Elliott; along with many nieces and nephews.
Terry is reunited in Heaven by his parents, his father and mother-in-law Alfred and Jeanette Kitzman; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Bill Viergutz; nephews Tom Viergutz and Rod McDermott.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Terry will always be remembered as a kind, gentle man who deeply loved his family, grandchildren, his many friends and Heather Pick who was like a grandchild.

Nancy Wallace, age 55, of Appleton, was born into eternal life on February 2, 2013 with her family at her side. She fought a hard and courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on June 23, 1957, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Clem and Gerry (Weber) Wallace.
Over the course of her 28 year career with head start as a parent advocate Nancy was a tremendous resource for her coworkers, and undoubtedly positively impacted many lives of the families she participated in as a result of her work, doing so with genuine love and respect.
She enjoyed taking long walks with friends and family, often in preparation for her participation in local half marathons and had fulfilling trips throughout the years most notable to Yellowstone National Park, Colorado and Graceland. Her time spent baking and specifically her famous cookies where enjoyed by many.

James R. Blob, age 73, affectionately known as "Big Daddy", of Appleton, died peacefully at his home on his birthday, Saturday, July 6, 2013. Jim was born in Appleton on July 6, 1940, to the late Bernard and Maxine (Utschig) Blob. On June 4, 1960, Jim was united in marriage to the love of his life, Peggy Daniels, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He made a great number of acquaintances during his many years of managing the Speedway gas station on the corner of Wisconsin Ave. and Meade St., retiring in 1999. A lifelong Appleton resident, he was a member of Riverview Lutheran Church, Appleton.
Jim fondly remembered his coaching days, having coached baseball at Palisades, Menasha, and basketball at Riverview Lutheran School, Appleton. He also served on the School Board at St. Paul Lutheran School, Appleton. Jim loved watching his children and grandchildren participate in any activities in which they were involved. He was known to let his grandchildren practice their haircutting ("It will grow back") and drawing ("It will wash off") skills on him and will be remembered for making people laugh. Big Daddy stories will be told and retold for years to come. In his earlier years, Jim enjoyed summer outings at the cottage with Boomer's family, as well as playing games with family and friends. He loved attending family functions, whether they be birthdays or holidays. He was particularly proud of his 8 children and all of his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy "Peg" Blob, Appleton; 6 sons: Tim (Bonnie) Blob, Menasha, and children Kelsey, Parker, and Hannah; Todd (Jan) Blobe, Town of Clayton, and son, Ryan; Tom (Shelli) Blob, Appleton, and children Devon and Morgan; Troy (Sandy) Blob, Greenville, and children Brittany, Ashley, and Alexander; Terry (Heather) Blob, Appleton, and children Max, Beau, and Emma; Tyler (Melissa) Blob, Menasha, and children Brendan, Brooklyn, and Bennett; 2 daughters: Tricia (Jason) Haen, Appleton, and children Madison, Lauren, and Brielle; and Tiffany (Ross) Hartwig, Greenville, and children Madalyn, Mckenzie, and Olivia; and a sister: Mary (Steve) Boeing, Appleton, and children Melissa (Ryan) West, and Matthew (Tracy) Boeing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Blob; a brother- in-law, Walter Daniels; a mother-in-law, Leonore Daniels; a sister-in-law, Patricia Hurley; and grandchildren Alexander Blob (son of Troy and Sandy), and Taylor Blob (son of Tim and Bonnie).
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Riverview Lutheran Church, 136 W. Seymour St., Appleton, with Rev. Adam Bode officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Friday at Riverview Lutheran Church, and again at church on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to his caregivers, Heather and Kelly, for their care and friendship shown to Jim. Sincere appreciation is warranted, also, for Dr. Karl Baum and Dr. Daniela Constantinescu, for their help when Jim needed it most. Thank you to the staff of Fresenius Medical Care and Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care extended to Jim.
The children acknowledge and thank our parents for the hard work and sacrifice necessary to raise and sustain such a large family.

Bill Utschig, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at St. Paul Hospice in Kaukauna. He was born June 8, 1954, to the late Reno and Janet Utschig. He was a lifelong resident of Appleton.
He is survived by two sons, Mike (Karina) Armbruster and Darren Utschig; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Aaron Armbruster; brother, Steve (Pat); sister, Julie Beck; niece and nephew, Jill and Andrew Utschig; and many good friends and extended family members.
