    Mary Ann (Bergman) Cotter, 72, of Greenville, died November 30, 2010, at her home in Greenville after a long illness.
    She was born March 14, 1938, in Appleton, daughter of the late John A. and Alvina C. (Vanderloop) Bergman. She married James A. Cotter Sr. November 28, 1957, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. Before retirement, Mary worked at Mark Travel and Guaranty Bank in Glendale, Sentry Foods in Milwaukee and Appleton, and Kimberly-Clark, Neenah. She did volunteer tax advising for seniors and church activities, she enjoyed playing cards monthly with a group of girlhood friends for over 50 years, and was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Greenville.
    She is survived by husband James A. Sr., of Greenville; children: Colleen (Peter) McGinty, London, England, Cheryl "Cheri" (Steven) Treutel, West Bend, Catherine (Milos) Brablec, Arlington Heights, IL, James A. II (Mary Borgren), Greenville, and John A. (Shanda), St. Charles, IL; 13 grandchildren: Lauren (Troy) Olson, Amy and Jennifer Treutel, James A. III, Rachel, Allyson, and Maximillian "Max" Cotter, David, Martin, and Greta Brablec, and John A. Jr., and Alyssa, and Ashley Cotter; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family in the Fox Cities.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by infant twins Patricia and Michael; brothers: John "Jack", Harold, and Robert Bergman; and sister, Ruth Murphy.
    Mary's warmth, infectious smile, intelligence, sense of humor, and the connections she made with people were appreciated by all and will be missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Robin Price and the Affinity Hospice green group for their compassionate care; lifelong friend Carole; Sandra and Eleanor of Valley VNA for the kindness, consideration and friendship they provided; the support and thoughtfulness of good neighbors; and family and friends for meals and companionship.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 6, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville, with Father Pius Cotter officiating. Friends may visit from 2:30 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel, and directly at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Parish Wake Service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Mary's Miscarriage and Infant Memorial, N2385 Municipal Drive, Greenville, WI 54942.
