Rossmeissl, Claren ce "Clem"Clarence "Clem" Rossmeissl age 91 of Appleton, passed away Thursday Mar ch 9, 2006, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. Clem was born October 2 5, 1914, in Appleton the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Alberty) Rossmei ssl. He resided in Appleton all of his life and was a graduate of Applet on High School. Clem was united in marriage to Margaret "Marge" Cull en on July 4, 1963, sharing 32 years together before her death in 1995. Cl em was employed by Wisconsin Bell as a right-of-way engineer for 37 year s, retiring in 1977. Clem will be remembered as a devoted husband and fath er and a true golf enthusiast. He enjoyed working in his yard and especial ly enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren.Survivors include his son Richard "Rick" (Lisa) Rossmeissl, Memphis, TN; t hree grandchildren: Greta, Cullen, and Veronica Rossmeissl; sister-in-la w, Margaret Rossmeissl, Appleton; also nieces, nephews, and dear friendIn addition to his parents, Clem was preceded in death by two brothers: Jo seph and James Rossmeissl.The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday March 14 th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St. Appleton, with Fr. Micha el O'Rourke officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 10 a .m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
