    Doran, Helen L.Helen L. Doran, 90, Marinette, passed away peacefully surrounded by her fa mily at home on Tuesday, July 18, 2006. She was born on April 18, 191 6, to the late John and Louise (Janssen) Leigeois in Marinette. She gradua ted from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1935. She married George Dor an on Feb. 23, 1946, in Marinette. He preceded her in death in Februa ry of 1988. Together they owned and operated Doran Upholstery for 35 year s. She was also an executive secretary at Ansul for many years. Her childr en describe her as a strong, independent woman who treasured time spent wi th her children and grandchildren. Though she enjoyed family travel excurs ions around the country her greatest joy in life was maintaining the fami ly home as a center for many family gatherings. She is survived by her children, Cathy (Greg) LaForme, Stow, Ohio; Tom (Ka thy), Madison; and Betsy (Steve) Erickson, Wales, Wis.; two sisters, Rosal ie Beckham, Rohnert Park, Calif.; and Mary (Bob) Schuchart, Marinett e; 11 grandchildren, Bill LaForme, Adam (Andrea) LaForme, Alyssa (Dan) Fis s, Caity (Peter Doksus) Doran, Rebecca Doran, Lucas Doran, Jeremy (Tris h) Erickson, Megan, Kristin, Chelsea, and Nick Erickson.In addition to her husband, George, a son, Phil, a daughter, Jane, two bro thers, and a sister preceded her in death.Friends may call on Friday July 21, from 9:30 a.m. until time of servic es at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Taylor Street in Marinette.     Elaine L. Theabo, 87, of Appleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Willow Lane Assisted Living. Elaine was born on April 10, 1927 in Oshkosh to the late Adolph and Frances (Faust) Janssen. Elaine graduated from Mercy Medical College with her degree in Nursing.On May 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Earl Theabo. Elaine was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. She was very active in the church; serving on the funeral committee, as a lector, communion distributor, and with the daily rosary league. Elaine was also involved with the Senior Center in Waushara County, the Waushara County SHARE Program, the Linus Program which provides quilts for children in need, and she was a member of the Eagle's Club Auxiliary.Elaine enjoyed camping and cooking out on the fire pit. She loved her flower garden, and knitting, crocheting and praying for her family.Elaine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl Theabo, her children; Mary Hare, Jean (Robert) Schultz, Rose (Robert) Prader, Michael, Paul, Gary (Cindy), and John (Pam) Theabo, by her 27 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her mother Frances Janssen, her father and step-mother Adolph (Lenore) Janssen, and by her brothers; Lawrence (Cecelia) and Clayton, her sister Doris (Malcolm) Larson, and by her son-in-law Richard Hare and daughter-in-law Gwen Theabo.Private family services will be held.The family wishes to send their deepest thanks to the staff of Willow Lane Assisted Living, and Hospice Advantage for the loving care of their mother. They know her last months were blessed because of your unending, gentle care. Your care and love extended to their father Earl, and their family is a memory they will always cherish.     Jahnke, Kenneth P.Kenneth P. Jahnke, 54, a Green Bay resident, passed away Saturday, Decemb er 17, 2005, at an area hospital. Ken was born September 25, 1951, in Gre en Bay, son of the late Roy and Maxine (Janssen) Jahnke. He was a 1969 gra duate of Oconto Falls High School and was employed by Badger Northla nd of Kaukauna and Wisconsin Public Service for many years. Ken married Sh aron Arnoldi on April 30, 1994, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Ken 's passion was growing plants and had worked in several nurseries. He al so enjoyed golfing, cooking, smoking meats and loved watching Elmo with h is granddaughter, Felecia.Survivors include his wife Sharon; two children, Bryan Jahnke, De Pere, Lo ra Jahnke, Green Bay and their mother, Mary of De Pere, one granddaughte r; Felecia Jahnke; two stepchildren, Jason Arnoldi and Leanna ( fiance Mo tu Fale) Arnoldi, all of Green Bay; six brothers, Lyle (Donna) Jahnke a nd Jim (Karen) Jahnke, all of Abrams; Dick Jahnke, Oconto Falls; Steve (Lo ni) Jahnke, Pensaukee; Roger Jahnke, Green Bay; and Rob (Cheryl) Jahnke, A brams; one sister; Carol (Ron) Kane, Abrams; uncle and aunt, Butch and B ev Jahnke, Abrams; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many frien ds.Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mas on St., on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday f rom 10 a.m. until the time of services at St. Paul's United Methodist Chur ch, 341 Wilson Ave. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chur ch with the Rev. Marty Williams officiating. Burial in Brookside Cemeter y.
