    Delrow, Norbert T.Norbert T. Delrow, "Del," Kaukauna, age 80, died peacefully Tuesday May 9t h, 2006, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. He was born July 26, 1925, son to t he late Theodore and Henrietta (Wendler) Delrow in Appleton. Del was draft ed into the U.S. Army in 1943 and served his country in the Army ba nd as a trombone player until his honorable discharge in 1946. He work ed at Appleton Machine Company as a Master Blacksmith for many years and t hen was employed at Paper Converting Machine Co. in Green Bay for 25 yea rs as a manufacturing supervisor until his retirement in 1989. Del play ed in several bands in the area including the Harold Ferron Band. He enjoy ed fishing, baseball, bowling, reading, card playing and woodworking and h is grandchildren. Del was a 45 year member of St. Francis Parish in Hollan dtown and a member of the American Legion Post 496 in Sherwood.He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lila; his three daughters: Suzan ne (David) Arrowood, Jean (Dale) St. Arnold and Judy (Jerry) Van Schynde l; seven grandchildren: Lindsay, David, Christina, Melissa, Nick, Jenna, a nd Hannah; one brother, Mel (Sharon) Delrow; a brother-in-law, Clarence Pe nnings; three sisters-in-law: Helen (Claire) Dutkievic, Beatrice Watry a nd Evelyn Schmidt and many special nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Delrow, four brothers-in-la w, Harvey Kobussen, Giles Watry, Julius Schmidt and Alvin Pennings and thr ee sisters-in-law, Betty Pennings, Eunice Pennings and Marie Pennings.Del's funeral service will be at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2006, at t he BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, with De acon Jerry Kuborn officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday at t he Funeral Home from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Full Military Bu rial Rites will follow the service.     Melvin Delrow, age 80, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on August 15, 1933, in Appleton, the son of the late Theodore and Henrietta (Wendler) Delrow. Mel graduated from Neenah High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy in Japan from 1952 -1956. On December 5, 1964, he married Sharon Spitzer in Tigerton. Mel was employed at IBM for 35 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville. Mel was dedicated to his family; his children and grandchildren, and he looked forward to when they could all be together in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Texas. He enjoyed working in his yard, doing home carpentry projects, traveling, bowling, fishing, camping, and watching sporting events. Mel was a proud Green Bay Packer season ticket holder since the Lombardi days.
    Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Delrow; daughters: Melanie (Tim) Wege of Avon, Minnesota and Lisa Delrow of Appleton; grandchildren: Megan, Alex and Gina Wege; sisters-in-law: Vi Delrow of Neenah, Darlene Spitzer of Largo, Florida, Marilyn (Howard) Sivertson of Tigerton and Kathy (Roger) Presl of North Manchester, Indiana; and brother-in-law, Jerry Desrochers of Tigerton. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norbert (Lila) Delrow and Robert Delrow and sister-in-law, Charmayne Desrochers.
    The funeral service for Melvin will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH, N1615 Meadowview Drive in Greenville followed immediately by full military honors. Rev. Paul L. Shackel will be officiating. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Tigerton at a later date. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.     The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Rev. Paul Shackel and the members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for your prayers and the comforting support shown to our family. Also, a special thank you to the staff of Affinity Hospice for the excellent care Mel received from you. All of the thoughtfulness shown to us will not be forgotten.
    Mel lived a full life, he found joy in his relationships with family and friends, he loved his God, he was proud to have served his country in the Navy and he respected all life and nature.
