    Sekorski, Dorothy (n ee Meverden)Dorothy Sekorski (nee Meverden), Sherwood, 72, died Saturday August 12, 20 06, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. S he was born November 12, 1933, daughter of the late Clarence and Theresa ( Beck) Meverden. On November 23, 1954, she was united in marriage to Dani el Sekorski at Holy Name Church in Wausau. Her loving husband of 51 yea rs survives her. Among her many interests, Dorothy enjoyed; traveling, cro cheting and knitting afghans, crossword puzzles, watching Brewer basebal l, playing cards, the cabin at Mayflower Lake and spending time with fami ly and the grandchildren. She was a longtime member of St. John-Sacred Hea rt Catholic parish.The following survive her; Dorothy was a loving wife to her husband, Danie l, devoted Mother to Kathy (Joseph) Beach, Karen (Thomas) Halbach, Kris ti (Paul) Kappell, Kay Giordana (fiance John Hornes), Carol (Thomas) Stump f, loving Grandmother to Sara, David (Rebecca), Jennifer and Kimberly Beac h, Tim, Mike, Katie and Kelly Halbach, Paul and Philip Kappell, Danielle G iordana, Clinton and Brittany Stumpf. Also surviving Dorothy are her six b rothers; Eugene, Raymond, Henry, John, Dennis and Tom and her seven sister s; Irma Martin, Ruth Tafelski, Irene Ruenger, Rose Radke, Carol Resch, Bet ty Meverden and Barbara Praslowicz and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, by her granddaughter, Teresa Hal bach, son-in-law, Richard Halbach, her three brothers; Irving, William a nd Robert and her three sisters; Elnora, Mary and June.Dorothy's funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart C atholic Church, Sherwood, with Fr. Kenneth Frozena officiating. Burial wi ll be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesd ay at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna a nd again Wednesday directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the ti me of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been establish ed in her name.The family expresses a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hos pital, the Affinity Visiting Nurses (especially Barb Mentzel), Dr. Goggi ns and assistant Jennifer Greiner for their care and concern.Also a special thank you to the nurses at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncolo gy-Madison Center in Appleton.Dorothy will be missed by her family, friends and all those she has loving ly cared for over the years.

    Halbach, Teresa M.Teresa M. Halbach, age 25, of St. John, died on October 31, 2005. She w as born March 22, 1980 in Kaukauna. Teresa graduated from Hilbert High Sch ool in 1998 and graduated from UW Green Bay Summa Cum Laude with a degr ee in photography in 2002. She was the owner and operator of Photograp hy by Teresa and did children's photography for Pearce Photography in Gre en Bay.Teresa was a member of St. John - Sacred Heart Parish in St. John and t he Business Marketing Group in Green Bay. She coached her younger sister 's 7th grade volleyball team at St. John - Sacred Heart School. She also e njoyed traveling and went to Spain, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and a ll across the United States. Most of all, Teresa loved singing karaoke a nd spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as t he "life of the party" who could make anyone smile.Survivors include her parents: Thomas and Karen (Sekorski) Halbach; matern al grandparents: Dan and Dorothy (Meverden) Sekorski; brothers and sister s: Timothy Halbach, Chilton; Michael Halbach, Green Bay and his special fr iend, Stephanie Jost, Hilbert; Katie Halbach, St. John; Kelly Halbach, S t. John; and 11 aunts and uncles: Kathy (Joseph) Beach, Sherwood; Kristi ( "Wally") Kappell, Sherwood; Kay (Special Friend John Horness) Giordana, Ne enah; Carol (Thomas) Stumpf, Menasha; Nick (Carol) Halbach, St. John; Denn is (Gloria) Halbach, Hilbert; Ron (Nancy) Halbach, St. John; Gary (Debr a) Halbach, Hilbert; Betty Halbach, Brillion; Dave (Special Friend Mary Yo ung) Halbach, Hilbert; and Mary (Steve) Lemberger, Sherwood. She is furth er survived by many cousins and friends.Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Halbach, and her pater nal grandparents: Cyril and Regina (Jackels) Halbach.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005 at St. Jo hn - Sacred Heart in St. John with the Rev. Dave Zimmermann officiating. F riends may call at St. John - Sacred Heart School Gymnasium in Sherwood fr om 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2005. There will be a parish vigil s ervice Friday evening at 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in t he name of Teresa M. Halbach. Wieting Family Funeral Home is assisting t he family with arrangements.The Halbach family would like to thank everyone who helped in the search f or Teresa and everyone's thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
