    Gerald J. "Jerry" Van Zeeland, Kimberly, age 88, died Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born on March 11, 1929 to the late George and Josephine (Van Dinter) Van Zeeland. He graduated from the Kimberly High School class of 1947 and on August 7, 1952, married Janice Schroeder at St. Therese Church in Appleton. He was a Korean War veteran, a member of the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60 and Christ the King Lutheran Church, where he ushered for many years. An avid hunter and fisher, Jerry enjoyed pursuing these hobbies with his sons, Uncle Pete Van Dinter and the Buchholtz brothers. He worked as a Finish Carpenter, retiring from The Boldt Company in 1986. After retirement Jerry enjoyed listening to Polka music, especially his all-time favorite The Carpenters Polka.
    Jerry is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Janice; sons: Jeffrey (Cheri) of Kaukauna and Dan (Lynn) of Appleton; grandchildren: Jason (Micki) Van Offeren, Michelle (Charles) Martin, Betsy (Nathan Van Schyndel) Van Zeeland, Ryan (Jasmine Linn) Van Zeeland and Brandon (Kathleen) Van Zeeland; great grandchildren: Gavin Bessette, Preston and Isaac Van Offeren and Harper Martin; sisters: Imelda (George) Zelinski and Sharon (David) Geurden; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gary Van Gomple, Doris Van Zeeland, Beverly Frahm, Keith Gonyea and Arley Relien. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Van Offeren; Janice's parents, Lawrence and Marcella (Klumpers) Schroeder; siblings: Janice Gloudemans, Melvin Van Zeeland, Marijo Van Gomple, infant twins Sharon and Karen; and niece, Tammy Geurden.
    Visitation will be held August 10, 2017 at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH (601 S. Washington St. Combined Locks) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 5:00 p.m. The Rev. Nate Gauerke will officiate. Military rites, conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post 60, will immediately follow. Committal Highland Memorial Park.     Melvin Van Zeeland, 75, formerly of Kaukauna, died Monday, February 18, 2008, at Colony Oaks Care Center with his family by his side. He was born March 29, 1932, in Kimberly, son of George and Josephine (Van Dinter) Van Zeeland. Melvin was employed at Wisconsin Natural Gas Company for 38 years prior to his retirement. He was the leader of Tempo Tones and Music Masters and his love was music.
    Mr. Van Zeeland is survived by his children: Julie (Dennis) Schmidt, Larry Van Zeeland, Karen (Jeff) Nechodom and Bruce (Nancy) Van Zeeland, all of Appleton; eight grandchildren: Glen, Matt and Michelle Schmidt; Stephenie Gerard and Ashley Nechodom; Alicia Schampers, Scott and Courtney Van Zeeland; his great-grandchildren: Madison, Serena, Hunter, Owen and Ellie Schmidt; a brother, Jerry (Janice) Van Zeeland, Kimberly; two sisters: Imelda (George) Zelinski, Texas, and Sharon (David) Geurden, Winneconne; two brothers-in-law: Donald Gloudemans, Kimberly, and Gary Van Gomple, Appleton.
    Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Melissa Nechodom and two sisters: Janice Gloudemans and Mary Jo Van Gomple.
    Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha, with Pastor Peter Leschke officiating. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. Friends may call at the church from 3:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.

    Janice C. Gloudemans, age 69, went home peacefully to be with our Lord following a two year courageous battle with mesothelioma (cancer) on Sunday morning, September 30, 2007, at Cherry Meadows. She was born April 1, 1938, to the late George and Josephine (Van Dinter) Van Zeeland in Kimberly, where she was a resident all of her life. She enjoyed cooking, baking and giving to others, traveling and going to Florida for the winter. Janice loved caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being with people and sharing her love. Thanks Mom for your encouraging outlook and loving touch. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be sadly missed by all. Janice was a member of Fox Valley Christian Fellowship.
    Survivors include her husband: Donald E. Gloudemans, whom she married August 4, 1959; three children: Gary (JoAnne) Gloudemans, Green Bay; Terri (Daniel) Ruys, Appleton; Steve Gloudemans, Appleton; her grandchildren: Michael and Carly Jo Gloudemans, Travis, Josh and Jennifer Ruys; two brothers: Jerry (Janice) Van Zeeland, Kimberly; Melvin Van Zeeland, Appleton; two sisters: Imelda (George) Zelinski, Grandbury, Texas; Sharon (David) Guerden, Winneconne; many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by three sisters; infant twins: Sharon and Karen Van Zeeland and Marijo Van Gomple, nieces: Linda Van Offeren and Tammy Guerden.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007, at Fox Valley Christian Fellowship, 1200 West Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Reverend Steve Nickel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Kaukauna. A memorial fund is being established in her name.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Elmer of Kimberly, Dr. Weigel, Dr. Khuntia and the entire Madison University Hospital staff who took such great care of Mom.

    Van Zeeland, Larry Age 57 of Appleton, Wisconsin. Born to Life on June 1, 1960 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Melvin and Doris (nee Haskins) Van Zeeland. Born to Eternal Life on October 16, 2017 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Larry was a graduate of Kaukauna High School in 1978. Larry was honorably discharged from the US Army after his service. He was later employed at Neenah Foundry for several years. Larry was a caring brother with a contagious laugh who cared deeply about his family and friends. He was a member of Christ the Rock Church for many years. He spent time watching movies and attending events at the PAC. Larry was an avid Packer and Badger fan as well.
    Loving son to Doris and the late Melvin Van Zeeland. Dear brother to Julie (Dennis) Schmidt, Karen (Jeff) Nechodom, and Bruce (Nancy) Van Zeeland. Uncle to Glen, Matt (Laurie), Michelle (Curtis) Madison, Serena, Hunter, Owen, Ellie, Stephenie (Denny), Ashley (Justin), Jayden, Rylan, Micah, Anderson, Blake, Alicia (Dustin), Scott (Katie), Courtney, Austin, Talon, Jasmine, Jordy, Ellianna, and Harper. Best friend to Johnny Meier and Rick Buss. Further survived by other family and friends.
    Preceded in death by his father Melvin, niece Melissa Nechodom, Grandmother Josephine Van Zeeland, and Aunt Grace Verhagen.
    Visitation will be held at Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Rd, on Thursday October 19, 2017 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral services at 6:00 with Pastor Peter Leschke presiding. Full Military Honors following the funeral service. Private burial at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials to the Disabled Veterans of America in Larry's name are appreciated. His family would like to extend a special thank you to his dear friend Kathy Reimer, the staff at Manor Care, and his friends Johnny and Rick.
