    Obituary:
    Wallace T. Hersant, age 80, passed away after a brief illness on August 9, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on September 4, 1929 in Grand Chute, WI; son of the late Anthony and Marie (Brockman) Hersant. On January 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to Loretta M. Tyvol at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Wallace was a truck driver for Kampo Transit, Schneider Tank Lines and Stone Container and retired in 1995. After his retirement, he drove school buses for Lamers. He enjoyed watching sports, including NASCAR, the Packers and the Brewers games with his grandson, Travis. He also loved playing pool and was known for his gift of gab. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Loretta Hersant, Appleton; his daughter, Connie Woldt, Seymour, son, Wallace Wally and a very special daughter-in-law, LouAnn Hersant, Appleton, daughter, Sherry Deltour, Fremont and son, Wesley Hersant, Menasha; grandchildren, Stacy Hietpas, Travis (Katie) Woldt, Sarah Garcia, Lisa (Quentin) Johnson, Kelli (fianc, Adam Peters) Woldt, Jim Hersant and Ashley Hersant; great grandpa, thank you for all your dollar bills and hugs, Taylor, Brandon, Mikayla, Derek, Mikenna, Isabella, Brianna, Conner, Jake, Emma, Joey, Carson, Ethan, Lucas, Abigail and Austin. Wallace is also survived by his half-brother, Milo VanOudenhoven, half-sister, Beverly VanAcker, brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom (Louise) Tyvol, Lois Krause, Carol Tyvol and Chuck (Mary) Tyvol and also by many special nieces and nephews including Jeff, Uncle Wally was very proud of your racing. He was preceded in death by his parents,mother and father in law, Clifford and Maidie Tyvol, sons-in-law, James Woldt and Andrew Deltour and sister-in-law, Joyce VanOudenhoven. A funeral service for Wallace will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to either the American Cancer Society or to Parkinsons Disease Research. The family would like to say special thanks to the staff of Appleton Health Care for taking such wonderful care of mom and where Dad made such good friends, the staff and doctors of Appleton Medical Center including especially, Dr. Novak and Dr. Bar-Lev. To all of Dads friends he made on his daily visits to the Express Convenience, Wisconsin Ave, Galvans, Seven Angels, Randall Court and Petes Auto Repair, Thank you all. Dad/Grandpa, The love that you showed to mom/grandma and to us taught us all what true love really is, we want to thank you so much for being such a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and role model to us. Will miss you Daddy-O, Love, Sam. Dad, we are going to miss your wake up calls, Love, Connie and Sherry. Will miss you Dad, Love Wes.
