    Van Daalwyk, Robert William
    Robert W. Van Daalwyk, 79, of Crivitz, WI, formerly of Kimberly, died peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2007, at Hospice of Arizona. He was born December 4, 1927, in Kimberly, to William H. and Nettie (Albers) Van Daalwyk. He was the beloved husband of Eunice M. Van Den Eng. They were wed on October 9, 1948, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. They are the parents of seven children. Bob was born and raised in Kimberly, and worked at the Kimberly Mill for 41 years. He attended Holy Name of Jesus Grade School and Kimberly High School. Robert served in the Army Air Force during 1946 and 1947. He retired in 1985, and moved to Lake Noquebay, Crivitz, WI.
    Bob enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the lake. In his younger years he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and teaching his children how to ski. He also loved watching the Packers. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Crivitz and a former member of Holy Name of Jesus in Kimberly, and also a member of the Kimberly Legion.
    He is survived his wife of 58 years, Eunice M. Van Daalwyk; three daughters: Diane (Jim) Carpenter, Geneva, IL; Lori (Albert) Verkuylen, Hortonville; Lisa Sutta, Little Chute; four sons: Dennis (Jane) Van Daalwyk, Menasha; William (Cheri) Van Daalwyk, Germantown; Robert Van Daalwyk, Madison; Lee Van Daalwyk, Lake Havasua City, Arizona; and 14 grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Laverne Dorn and Dolores Dorn.
    Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz Friday evening, from 4-6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral at St. Mary's Church in Crivitz at 10:30 a.m. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home. 715-854-7460

    Steven Scott Dorn, 46, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010. He was born on Aug. 12, 1963, the son of Lawrence L. Dorn, Sr. and the late Dolores Dorn. Steven graduated from Xavier High School in 1981. He then entered the Navy and faithfully served his country until his honorable discharge.
    Steven's passion was in the food service industry, he loved to cook. As a former owner of The Willow restaurant, he and his dedicated staff were the recipients of numerous awards. Steven was a generous man who was actively involved in several recovery clubs. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved the arts and music and enjoyed going to Florida to spend time with his parents.
    Steven is lovingly survived by his parents, Lawrence L. Dorn Sr. (Billie Jean) Dorn, Ft. Meyers, Fla.; brother, Lawrence Dorn Jr., Menasha; nephew, Lawrence Dorn III and special friend, Kristin Roovers; nieces, Jennifer (Matt) Vandenberg, Elizabeth Dorn; great-nephew, Chase Vandenberg; great-niece and godchild, Sanibel Vandenberg; and various aunts, uncles and cousins. Steven is further survived by all his cherished friends.
    A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine Street, Appleton, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Friends will be received for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m on Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at the Wichmann Funeral Home and again on Tuesday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. There will also be a Prayer Service on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home.
    Steven's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all their care and support.
    In lieu of flowers, please make donations to "The Solutions Recovery Club of Oshkosh."
