Goey , Joline M.
Joline M. DeGoey, age 52, of 217 Lox Court, Combined Locks passed away peacefully Friday, April 16, after a strong and courageous battle with Cancer. She passed away at Cherry Meadows hospice with her family at her side. Joline was born July 23, 1951 in the Village of Little Chute, the daughter of the late John and Irma (Revoir) Pennings. She grew up in Little Chute and Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1969. Joline graduated from Silver Lake College with a bachelor of Science in Business Management. Joline was employed by Theda Care Physicians where she managed the Osteopathic, Kimberly and Midway clinics. Her passions in life were her family, faith, career and her cottage. Joline touched the lives of all those around her with her selfless devotion and caring heart. Her unique sense of humor and vibrant love of life will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Jim; two daughters, Jennifer (Jamie) Thern and Terri Jo Dercks; step daughters Emily DeGoey and Sarah (Shannon) Gazze, Kirsten Wirth; and a step son, Erik Rydberg; and four grandchildren, Cassie Jo, Chloe, Collin and Carter. She will also be missed by three sisters, Janice (Jim) Van Camp, Cubby (Jim) Verkuilen, Laurie Latimer; a brother, Daniel Pennings; and many other family members and friends.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Joline's memorial service will be 6 p.m. on Monday April 19, 2004 at CHRIST THE ROCK, W6254 Hwy 10-114, Menasha with Rev. Bill Lenz officiating. Viewing and visitation will be Monday at Church from 12:30 until 5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in her name.
Joline, you are and always will be our precious baby sister. Though you left us much too soon, you will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts as we know you are watching over us. You touched so many lives in your loving caring way. How fortunate we are to have had you as our sister and we will always love you.
