    Malinda M. Mader, age 90, went to her heavenly family on October 20, 2010. She was born July 17, 1920, to the late Adolph and Hannah (Mueller) Bloy. On January 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to Lawrence O. Mader and together they raised six children.
    She will be dearly missed by her loving family that survive her: Bill (Arlene), Appleton; Marilyn Mader, Kimberly; Larry (Paula), Abbotsford; Rosie Rohm, Hortonville; Carol Carlsen, Jasper, GA; and Lynn Mader (Dick Underwood), Wickenberg, AZ; 12 grandchildren: Sue (Mark) Mauthe, Teri Leduc, Tina (Tim) Brandt, Bill Jr. (Kirsten) Mader, Chris (Kim) Vander Heyden, RoseAnn Goodwin, Budd Vander Heyden, Curt (Erika) Mader, Lori (Andy) Jurgensmier, Angie (John) Miller, Tony (Melanie) Mader, and Jeannine (Rich) Wilz; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren: Stella and Tony Anderson; a sister, Margie Gresl, Appleton, 2 brothers: Leonard (Shirley) Bloy, Appleton and Adolph, Jr. (Charlotte) Bloy, Kaukauna; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Bloy, Appleton, Pat Bloy, Kaukauna, Mabel De Graves, Green Bay; brothers-in-law: Donald (Phyllis) Mader, Darboy, and Hank Weyenberg, Little Chute.     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; a grandson, Jamie Jansen; brothers: Ralph (Gertrude), Donald, Raymond, and Benjamin Bloy; two sisters: Mildred (Everett) Wiegert and Florence Weyenberg; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Marie), Cyril (Eleanor), Jack (Helen), Arlen (Laverne), and Bob (Flo) Mader; and a sister-in-law, LaVerne (Leslie) Kasten.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and again directly at church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Malinda's name is being established. Burial will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.

    Margaret Gresl, age 94 of Appleton, passed away at Brewster Village on Friday evening, August 25, 2017. Margaret was born in Calumet County on October 28, 1922, daughter of the late Adolph and Johanna (Mueller) Bloy. On October 1, 1949, she married Paul Gresl at St. Therese Church in Appleton; Paul preceded her in death in 1989. Many will remember Margaret for her years of work at the Zwicker Knitting Mill in Appleton.
    Margaret was a longtime member at St. Pius Church where she was an active volunteer, and was also active with the Menasha Dance Club, the Red Hat Club, the Christian Women's Society, an exercise group, and a card club. She enjoyed playing her harminoca, fishing, travel, bowling, crafting, gardening, and playing sheephead and Rummikub.
    Margaret is survived by her four loving children: Nancy (John) Van Gompel of Neenah, Ron (Brenda) Gresl of Appleton, Lois Gresl of Milwaukee, and Victoria (Randy) Krull of Appleton; five grandchildren: Christopher Van Gompel (Beth), Sara Van Gompel (Tony Busch), Gina Gresl, Jacob Krull, and William Krull; three great-grandchildren: Emily and Ethan Busch and Brayden Gresl; two brothers: Leonard (Shirley) Bloy of Appleton and Adolph (Charlotte) Bloy, Jr. of Kaukauna; a sister-in-law: Pat Bloy of Kaukauna; and a brother-in-law: Jerome Gresl of Appleton. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul in 1989, an infant son Nicholas, a grandson Curtis Krull, brothers Ralph (Gertrude) Bloy, Donald (Mabel DeGraves) Bloy, Raymond (Elizabeth) Bloy, and Ben Bloy; sisters Florence (Hank) Weyenberg, Mildred (Everett) Wiegert, and Linda (Lawrence) Mader; a sister-in-law Betty Gresl, and a brother-in-law Don (Elaine) Gresl.
    The funeral liturgy for Margaret will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street in Appleton, with Fr. James Jugenheimer officiating. Entombment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.     Benjamin W. Bloy, Kaukauna, age 82, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 30, 2008, in Orange Beach, Al. He was born March 24, 1926, to the late Adolph and Hannah (Mueller) Bloy in Sherwood. Ben married Mary Hibbard on June 14, 1947, celebrating 60 years of marriage. He worked at Ouden Hoven Construction and then was a partner in Bloy Construction. Ben was a WWII veteran, serving his country from 1944 to 1946 in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and the Argonne Forest. He was a 60-year member of the Wrightstown Legion. Ben enjoyed spending time at his lake home in Shawano and winters in Orange Beach, Alabama. He loved fishing, golf, bowling and cards. His great joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary (Hibbard) Bloy, three sons and four daughters and their spouses: Dennis (Barbara), Kaukauna; Richard (Armella), Kaukauna; Donald (Marilyn), Kaukauna; Deborah (Tim) Coffey, Shawano; Darlene (Joe) Gries, Little Chute; Mary (John) Geurts, Freedom; Jean (Chris) Lamers, Kaukauna; 18 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters: Margaret Gresl, Appleton; Linda Mader, Kimberly; brothers: Leonard (Shirley) Bloy, Appleton; Adolph (Charlotte) Bloy, Kaukauna; a brother-in-law, Hank Weyenberg, Little Chute; sisters-in-law: Mabel De Grave, Green Bay; Elizabeth Bloy, Appleton. He is further survived by his wife's family Robert (Peggy) Hibbard, MN; John (Barb) Hibbard, Appleton; James (Beth) Hibbard, Gillett,; Sue (John) Waters, Round Lake Beach, IL; Verna Hibbard, Chilton.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Daniel Bloy, brothers: Ralph (Gertrude) Bloy, Raymond Bloy, and Donald Bloy, sisters: Mildred (Everett) Weigert and Florence Weyenberg, brothers-in-law: Paul Gresl, Lawrence Mader, and George Hibbard Jr., father- and mother-in-law: George and Lillian Hibbard, a son-in-law, Al Winius.
    Ben's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at St. Katherine Drexel Parish @ St. Mary Site, 119 West Seventh Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Full Military Burial Rites will follow Ben's service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.

    Weyenberg, Roman A. "R omie"Roman A. "Romie" Weyenberg, age 70, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Augu st 6, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, with his loving wife and fami ly by his side. Romie was born on May 30, 1936, in the Town of VandenBro ek to Henry and Florence (Bloy) Weyenberg. Romie was a member of Holy Cro ss Church in Kaukauna. He served in the military as a Naval Reservist. Rom ie made many close friends in his 40 years in the paper industry at Ast en Forming Fabrics (Wisconsin Wire Works), retiring in 1995. After some ye ars in plant production, he found his niche in sales where he worked build ing many relationships.Many will remember the fun get-togethers over the years he and Shirley hos ted. Romie had a natural gift for making friends everywhere he went with h is engaging sense of humor. He had a great love of cars, fishing, boatin g, golf and playing spider solitaire on the computer. He was very acti ve in the Stuart Corvette Club in Florida. Romie cherished spending time w ith his children and grandchildren playing poker and swimming in the po ol at his home in Florida.
