    Family History Researcher:
This is interesting. My Hank Marino did live in Orange in the 70s. I used to visit them there. He had Alzheimers and declined quite a lot by that time. He may have been sent back to WI after he died, or maybe shortly before. He was a famous bowler and made his reputation while living in Milwaukee, so his ties there are very strong. He was born in Palermo Sicily and the story goes that he came to the US at 11 and lived with his brother in Chicago. He worked as a shoemaker, but became well known there as "the Italian Wonder" for his bowling skill. He moved to Milwaukee in 1930. He was named the bowler of the half century in 1951 by a poll of AP writers and inducted in to the bowling hall of fame in 1941. He bowled 11 perfect games in sanctioned play. He was also famous for twirling the ball on his thumb and his love of spaghetti.
The bowling alley he built in Santa Monica is historical and the facade still exists. He built it with his most famous protegee, Ned Day and actor Harold Lloyd. They named it Llo-Da-Mar, a combination of their names. I have many fond memories of it. He also owned a bowling alley in Milwaukee prior to his retirement in 1965, but I don't know what it was.

From Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame; Marino, Enrico "Hank":
Back in the days when Milwaukee was one of the nation's bowling hotbeds, Enrico "Hank" Marino often ignited the coals. Marino competed for more than 50 years and was one of the top bowlers in the world when he played for the Heil Products team in the 1930s.
Marino was national singles champ from 1934 to 1938, stepping down only because of illness. In 1936, he won the all events title in the International Bowling Tournament in Berlin, Germany.
Originally from Chicago, Marino first established himself as a top bowler while competing in that city. He moved to Milwaukee in 1930 to operate an alley and blossomed further while on the Heil team. He had 11 perfect games, including two in one series (300-232-300).
Marino was named "bowler of the half century" by the American Bowling Congress in 1951 and was inducted into the ABC Hall of Fame.
