    Pritzl, Margaret, "Maggie ", AppletonAge 54, passed away at home on December 23, 2003 after a brief battle wi th kidney cancer. She is the daughter of Virl and Alfred VandenBoom, a nd a graduate of St. John's High School. Maggie was currently employ ed as secretary for the Family Court Commissioner and prior to that she sp ent 25 years working for Ameritech. She married Lee Pritzl on November 1 3, 1971 and Maggie is expecially proud of raising two wonderful childre n, Samuel and Sarah.Maggie is survived by her husband, Lee; a son, Samuel; and her daughter, S arah; a sister, Patricia (Gene) Wyro; two stepbrothers: Kenneth (Joann) Di edrick and Gordon (Delores) Diedrick; godmother, Winifred Wieseckel; and L ee's family: Richard and Rita Pritzl; six sisters-in-law: Jean (James) Sch ricker, Linda (William) Jarzombeck, Eileen (Gary) Vanboxtel, Diane (Vinc e) Neumann, Teresa (Ralph) Bates, Lisa Pritzl and her friend Charlie; t wo brothers-in-law: James (Jean) Pritzl and William (Jane) Pritzl; and ma ny nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Virl (VandenBoom) Diedrick; fathe r, Alfred VandenBoom; stepfather, Lester Diedrick; and godfather, Claren ce Wieseckel.It was most important to Maggie to extend the following acknowledgement s. A sincere thank you to the Family Court Commissioner's Office, the gir ls in the Clerk of Courts Office and Child Support Agency, the girls in t he Justice Center, the County Employees Union (Local AFSCME 2046). Dr. Rob ert Geller and his staff, RN's Melissa, Noreen and Carol. Sandy from Hospi ce, Lee's family and a special friend, Mary Kubiak.The Memorial Service will be on Monday, January 5, 2004 at 7 p.m. at Vall ey Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home fr om 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund will be establish ed in her name. Valley Funeral Home2211 N. Richmond St.733-5435
