Obituary:
Robert F Rohrer, age 81, of 2444 S 18th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday morning, April 6, 1996, at his residence. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at St Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Earl Brouchoud with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum Chapel. He was born September 29, 1914, in Manitowoc, son of the late Sylvester and Theresa Pritzl Rohrer Sr. He attended St Andrew Parochial Grade School and was a graduate of St Norbert's High School in Green Bay (DePere) with the class of 1933. On September 25, 1941 he married the former Olive Pech at St Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Bob was employed with the Manitowoc Company Inc. as a Tool Room Clerk for 38 years retiring in 1978. Survivors include his wife, Olive Rohrer, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, James T and Paula Rohrer, Manitowoc, Charles R and Julie Rohrer, Two Rivers; two sisters, Grace Lemberger, Whitelaw, Virginia Willman, Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Matthew, Adam, Jared and Anna Rohrer, Jeffrey and Amy Rohrer. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Sylvester Rohrer Jr. and two sisters, Florence Theisen and Marion Levendusky. Friends may call at St Andrew Catholic Church Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. There will be no Monday evening visitation. The Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
