    Obituary:
    John Michael Budde, pioneer resident of this city, passed away at his home, 110 Willow street, on Thursday following an illness of the past year.
    The deceased was born in the town of Beaver Dam on May 17, 1871, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Budde. He attended the old St. Mary's Parochial School, which is now St. Peter's Parochial School. He was married to Juliana Weix on November 10, 1898. He lived on the farm where he was born until September of 1952, when he moved to this city.
    Surviving are: his widow, nine sons and one daughter, Rev. Gerhard J. Budde, Hartford; Lawrence J. Budde, Beaver Dam; Rev. George Budde, Eagle; Rev. John T. Budde, Hartford; Rev. Raymond Budde, Milwaukee; Henry S. Budde, Beaver Dam; Leo J. Budde, Beaver Dam; Miss Barbara Budde, at home; one sister, Mrs. Theresa Schlaefer, Beaver Dam; thirty-one grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, one of whom was Joseph Edward Hankes, who preceded him in death several days ago.

    He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, St. Peter's Society, and St. Peter's Holy Name Society. Funeral services were held from the McKinstry-Yauman-Murray Funeral Home at 10:00 o'clock Monday morning and at 10:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Catholic Church.
    Four priests, sons, officiated at the solemn requiem high mass, Rev. Gerard Budde, pastor of St. Kilian's, Hartford, celebrant; Rev. George R. Budde, pastor of St. Theresa's, Eagle, deacon; Rev. John T. Budde, assistant pastor, St. Kilian's, Hartford, sub-deacon; and Rev. Raymond F. Budde, assistant pastor at St. Boniface, Milwaukee, master of ceremonies. Rev. Raymond Miller, pastor of St. Peter's parish will preach the sermon. Interment was at St. Peter's cemetery.
