Kobal, Geraldine H. KaukaunaAge 79, died Saturday, January 11, 2003 at the Saint Paul Nursing Home. Ge raldine was born on November 3, 1923, daughter of Arthur and Anna (Bril l) Mayer. She graduated from Kaukauna High School and attended Mother Cabr ini School of Nursing in Chicago. She married Lt. Karl H. Kobal on Septemb er 22, 1943 at Hondo AAFB, Hondo, Texas.She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Karl H., her children: Ka rl A. (Kathy), Appleton; Michael, Bisbee, Arizona; Kristin (Lee) Weber, We st Allis; Paul (Connie), Columbus, Ohio; Thomas, Bisbee, Arizona; siste r, Evangeline “Punky” (Lloyd) Stoeger, Darboy; and grandchildren; great-gr andchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Anna (Brill) Mayer a nd her brother James.Special thanks from the bottom of our hearts to “Gerry’s Angels” at the Sa int Paul Nursing Home for their compassionate care and to special frien ds Marty and Joyce Van Deraa.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at saint Mary Chur ch, 7th Street, Kaukauna.
