    Age 91, of Shiocton, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1917 in the Town of Deer Creek, daughter of the late George and Olive (Burton) Bessette. On July 25, 1936, she married Louis A. Affeldt. He preceded her in death in 1993. Madeline farmed in the Town of Maine with her husband for many years. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino.
    She is survived by her children: Shirley (Davey) Smith, Louis Affeldt Jr., Beverly (Roger) Wilfuer, Ray (Ellen) Affeldt, Kenneth Affeldt and special friend Juleen, and Russell Affeldt; a son-in-law: Dave Talady and a daughter-in-law Mary Lou Affeldt; sisters: Millie Brandt, Marie Seehafer and Mairlyn (Bill) Siebert; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, her daughter Linda; daughters-in-law Sandy Affeldt and Sherry Affeldt; a grandson Danny Affeldt, a granddaughter Anne Smith; a great-granddaughter Valerie Biese; mother and father-in-law August (Clara) Affeldt; brothers Merlin (Jackie) Bessette, Louis (Louise) Bessette; brothers and sisters-in-law Rennie (Lydia) Affeldt, Art (Grace) Schneider and Lucille (Ray) Reader, Norman Seehafer and Willard Harbor.
    The Funeral Mass for Madeline will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery in New London at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
    A special thank you to Sister Jane and Heartland Hospice for their care and concern of Madeline.

    Mildred R. Harbor-Brandt, 97, Neenah, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, January 4, 2016. She was born on May 16, 1919, in the Town of Deer Creek, daughter of George and Olive (Burton) Bessette. Millie married Willard Harbor on June 22, 1937 , and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1977. After marriage, Mildred and Willard stayed on her family's farm, near Navarino, until 1959. She later married Harvey Brandt on June 16, 1980, and he also preceded her in death on May 9, 2005. Millie was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish, Neenah. Mildred was employed with Theda Clark Medical Center for 25 years as a housekeeper. She will be remembered for living a full life that was always devoted to her family. Mildred enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family at supper clubs; especially, Mer & Jackie's Supper Club.
    Mildred is survived by her 2 sons: Gregory G. (Pat) Harbor, Corbett W. (Jean) Harbor; 3 stepchildren: Brian (Jill) Brandt, Meredith (Phil) Seidl, Amy (Mike) Nordlee; 5 grandchildren: Nancy (Kurt) Jenicek, Melisa Triggiano, Corbett G. (Letha) Harbor, Gregory C. Harbor, and Haley (Tim Pierre) Harbor; 8 great grandchildren: Boone, Marisa, Alexia, Chance, Hunter, Kaleb, Nik, and Noah; 2 sisters: Marie Seehafer and Marilyn Siebert; a brother-in-law: Royal Brandt; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    In addition to her husband's, Mildred was further preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings: Merlin (Jacqueline) Bessette, Louis (Louise) Bessette, and Madelyn (Louis) Afeldt.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Tuesday at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Mildred's name.
    Millie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Millie's niece and nephew, Shirley Smith and Joe Bessette, for all their wonderful tender loving care.

    Kenneth R. Affeldt, age 63, Shiocton died on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Ken was born on March 10, 1949, in Appleton son of the late Louis and Madeline (Bessette) Affeldt. Ken proudly served his country in Vietnam. He worked very hard until his tragic fall and head injury causing his retirement.
    Ken is survived by four sons, Kenneth Jr. (Marcy), their children: Daniel, Kassandra and Dakota; Jamie; Tim, his sons, Austin and Logan; and Tony (Rachel), their children, Hailey and Mason; longtime girlfriend, Juleen Vallafskey. Brothers and sisters: Shirley, Louis Jr., Bev (Roger), Ray (Ellen) and Russ (Sally). He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who Ken considered family.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Beyer in 1996 and a sister Linda.
    Funeral services for Ken will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton with Rev. Mike Isbill officiating. Burial will be in the St. Denis Cemetery, Town of Bovina. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Rennes Health Care and also to Heartland Hospice.

    Corbett W. Harbor, 75, Neenah, was called to his eternal home on January 9, 2017. He was born on November 19, 1941, in Green Bay, the son of Willard W. and Mildred R. (Bessette) Harbor. Cub was a journeyman tool and die maker, working for many local companies over the years, most recently with Advanced Tooling Specialists in Menasha. He was united in marriage to Jean Marie Selenske on June 8, 1960, in Antigo, and they shared 53 wonderful years together. Corbett was a devoted family man, who prided himself in teaching his children anything and everything he could. Corby loved to golf, especially for the JJ Keller Golf League for 27 years. He thoroughly enjoyed the golfing trips with his brother Greg and many wonderful friends. Corbett was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. He was a fun loving guy who will be missed by his many friends at ICU.
    Corbett is survived by his wife: Jean; 3 children: Nancy (Kurt) Jenicek, Melisa Triggiano, and Corbett G. (Letha) Harbor; 5 grandchildren: Boone, Marisa, Kaleb, Nikolaas, and Noah; a brother: Gregory G. (Pat) Harbor; several extended family members and friends.
    Corbett was preceded in death by his parents.
    Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah, with Rev. Ricky P. Schroeder officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Corbett's name.
    Corbett's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Corbett's cousins, Shirley Smith and Joe Bessette for always being there for Corby.

    Daniel Affeldt, two-month-old son of Mr & Mrs Raymond Affeldt, 1600 N Summit St. died unexpectedly this morning. Death was due to natural causes, according to C.J. Schink, deputy Outagamie County coroner. The child was being treated for pneumonia.
