    Vander Loop, Irene E., Litt le ChuteAge 89, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Brewster Village with her fami ly by her side. Irene was born December 19, 1913 in Appleton, daught er of the late Martin and Mary (Crowe) Williams.She married John “Jack” Vander Loop June 1, 1937 at St. Therese Catholic C hurch, Appleton and he preceded her in death in May of 1986. Irene was a m ember of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, the St. Elizabeth Socie ty of St. John Parish, St. John Mission Society, Golden Agers and the Amer ican Legion Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the American Red Cross, Par kside Nursing Home, Hospital Visitation for St. John Parish and sewing f or American Veterans in King, Wisconsin.Irene is survived by two children: Rosemary (Jack) Mitchler, Minocqua, Wis consin; Judith (Richard) Bauer, Kaukauna; six grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sand i) Mitchler, Kimberly; Susan (Andrew) Teichmiller, Arbor Vitae; Cathy (Da n) Mitchler-Hein, Appleton; Kay (Jimmy) Bolin, La Grange, Kentucky; Joe (A nna) Bauer, Appleton; David (Kelly) Bauer, De Pere; 16 great-grandchildre n: Tara and Jacob Mitchler; Tamara Mielke; Leah and Lexie Hein; Celeste Te ichmiller; Melissa and Charlie Maisch; Amanda, Kristine and Jamie Bolin; M att, Kenlyn and Tony Bauer; Stephanie and Nicholas Bauer; a sister-in-la w, Peggy Vander Loop; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was prec eded in death by her husband, John; an infant daughter, Susan; two brother s: Irvin and Norman; a sister, Margaret Schermitzler.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 at St. John Nep omucene Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen o fficiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at t he Verkuilen Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mo nday. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
