    Van Schyndel, George L. George L. Van Schyndel, 88, Oneida died early Friday morning, Dec. 3, 20 04 at a Green Bay hospital. He was born March 12, 1916, in Little Chute, W is., to the late John and Petronella (Vanden Hogen) Van Schyndel. Wh en he was five, the family moved to Oneida, where they farmed for many yea rs. George married Edna Noe on Oct. 13, 1942, at St. Sebastian Catholic Ch urch, in Isaar. They celebrated 47 years together, with Edna “Betty” prece ding him in death on May 2, 1989. George worked for many years in the pap er industry, retiring from American Can in 1979. He was an excellent carpe nter, gardener, and storyteller. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing a nd singing silly Holland songs. He raised chickens and other farm animal s. Generous in heart, he shared much with others. He took great delig ht in all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very cari ng to his wife. His white cat, Kitty, became his close companion after h er death. George was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Onei da where he served as an altar boy in his youth.He is survived by his children, David (Jean), Oneida; Dianne (Bob) Elli s, De Pere; Donna (Tim) Huettl, Seymour: Linda (Don) Patzke, Howard; Sue D uben and John Van Schyndel, both of Oneida. He is further survived by h is daughter-in-law, Mary Pat Van Schyndel, Seymour; 36 grandchildren, 26 g reat-grandchildren; and his sister, Dolores Van Schyndel, Green Bay.He was preceded in death by his son, George W. Van Schyndel; four brother s, John (Clara), Marty (Tracy), Tony (Veulah) and Ted; also his three sist ers, Ann (John) Van Boxtel, Marie (Clarence) Daoust, and Dorothy (Ray) Jac ques.Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Sey mour on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer servi ce at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, the “Fea st of St. Nicholas,” at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 St. Joseph’s Dr ., Oneida, from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., w ith Father Bill Swichtenberg officiating. The burial will be in the pari sh cemetery.Thank you to all who made Dad’s life happy, helping him attain fullne ss of life. Dad was much loved and will be missed by all. The family than ks the medical community, and in a special way, the staff at St. Vincent H ospital and Dr. Lamont and his nurse, Kathy. Many thanks to all who enjoy ed a good chicken dinner with Dad, especially Rose and the late Bill VanBo xtel. And a special thank you to Sr. Cecilia Noe, Wrentham, MA, for her gi ft of prayer.

Edna (daughter of Noe, William Joseph and Lex, Celia) was born 10 Sep 1921, Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 2 May 1989; was buried , St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Oneida, Outagamie County, Wisconsin.     Wausaukee - John C. Van Schyndel, 61, Wausaukee, passed away on Friday April 13, 2018. He was born March 5, 1957 to the late George and Edna Van Schyndel.
    John was an avid outdoorsman, whom loved his three dogs; Brandy, Whiskey and Henry. It was the time spent with family, and friends, and his grandchildren that meant the most to him though.
    He is survived by his two sons; Eric and Jerry, his grandchildren; Annelise, and Brooke, as well as his siblings; Diane (Dcn. Bob) Ellis, Donna (Tim) Huettl, Linda (Don) Patzke, Sue Duben, many nieces and nephews, and two sisters in laws; Mary Pat and Jean.
    John was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; David and George.
    Friends may call after 9:00AM Saturday April 21, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. John C.
