    VanderZanden, AlAl VanderZanden, age 90, of Seymour passed away peacefully Wednesday, Mar ch 23, 2005, at his home. He was born March 15, 1915 in Little Chute, t he son of the late Henry and Johanna (DeGroot) VanderZanden. On April 2 9, 1942 he was united in marriage to Cecelia Smis at St. Joseph’s Cathol ic Church, in Oneida. Al farmed his entire life in the Oneida and Seymo ur areas. He was a member of the Seymour Assembly of God Church. His great est pleasures were bicycling and visiting with neighbors, friends and fami ly. He enjoyed auctions and was a frequent visitor to the sales barn.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cecelia, his children: Gerald (Mar ilyn), Seymour; Jim (Dorey), Appleton; Mary (Gerald) Johnson, Wisconsin Ra pids; Jeanie B. (Loren) Marcks, Black Creek; David, Seymour; daughter-in-l aw, Debbie, Milwaukee; ten grandchildren: Andrea (Timothy) Anderson, Ka ri Ann VanderZanden, Tina (Dale) Callicutt, Timothy and Torey Johnson; To dd and Doug Marcks; Renee (Pete) Page, Matthew and Katye VanderZanden; als o, four great-grandsons: Zachary, Dylan, Clayte and Garrett.He was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, an infant daught er and two grandchildren.Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Stree t, Seymour, on Monday, March 28, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will co ntinue on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, from 10 a.m. until the services at 11 a .m. at the Seymour Assembly of God Church, 989 Lincoln St., with the Rever end Philip Engel officiating. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemete ry in Kaukauna. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.boettc herfuneralhomes.com. A memorial fund has been established.A special thank you to the many friends, neighbors and relatives for the v isits, support and prayers. And a thank you to Unity Hospice for their ca re and support.
