    Catherine Chosa Appleton Age 94, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001, in Appleton. She was born December 15, 1906, daughter of August and Catherine (Spohn) Pahl. Catherine was united in marriage to Milton Chosa in 1931. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1971. She is survived by a son, Jerome (Kathy), Menasha; a granddaughter, Jo Ann Rice (Jerry), Alabama; grandson, Jerome Jr. (Lisa), Appleton; three great- grandchildren; a sister, Caroline (Pahl) Seggeling, Neenah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Lillian Kellerman, De Pere. She was preceded in death by brothers Benjamin and Frank Pahl. A private funeral was held and burial was held at Kelso Cemetery. Catherine was known for her crochet and music talent. She supplied many with baby booties of many kinds through the years. She had many close friends who visited her regularly which she enjoyed. A special thank you to Herbert and Marie Powell for their devotion to Catherine and all the things they did out of the goodness of their hearts throughout the years. It was greatly appreciated.

    Seggeling, Caroline T.Caroline T. Seggeling, of Neenah, age 96, died unexpectedly, but peacefull y, Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born Ju ly 22, 1908, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late August and Katherine (Spoh n) Pahl. She married William Seggeling on June 15, 1929; he preceded h er in death on March 27, 1991. Caroline was well-known for her flower gard en and manicured yard.A loving mother and grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her daughte r, Betty Gibson, Appleton; three grandchildren: Steven Gibson, Kensingto n, MD; Kay (Cliff) Gibson - Schultz, Kansas City; and Kathy Gibson, Applet on; she is further survived by nieces, nephews, and by her loving pets. S he was a grandmother figure to Jacqueline, Mitch, and Pura. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.A Time of Remembrance will held Saturday, April 9, 2005, from 12 to 2 p. m. at Neenah’s Westgor Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Shrine of Heav en Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.The family would like to thank the staff of Appleton Medical Center Emerge ncy Department and the 4th floor nursing staff for all their compassion.
