    Verheyen, Lambe rt "Bud"Lambert "Bud" Verheyen, 96, Pittsfield, passed away Thursday morning, Sep t. 21, 2006, at home. The son of the late Antone and Christine (Heezen) Ve rheyen, was born July 17, 1910, in the town of Lawrence. He married the fo rmer Mathilda "Tillie" Lena Spietz at St. Boniface Catholic Church, We st De Pere, on Aug. 1, 1933. She preceded him in death on Oct. 15, 1997. B ud retired from Foth & Van Dyke Consulting Engineers in Green Bay on De c. 31, 1973.Survivors include his four daughters, Helen and John Tauscher, Elsie and M arvin Janz, Norma Miller, Diane and Robert Smits, and one son, Glenn and D iana Verheyen; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, three great-great -grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife; one son-in-law, Roy Miller; one brot her, Lawrence; four sisters, Mary, Frances, Helen and Blance.Friends may call at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Bay Settlem ent, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2006.     Elsie Marie Janz (Verheyen), age 77 of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Mathilda Verheyen, and her sister, Diane Smits. Elsie is survived by her husband Marvin Janz, son Gary (Cathy Schneider) Hendricksen of Caledonia, WI, two daughters, Lori (Ken) Van Cleve of Crandon, WI, and Julie (Jim) Freitas of West Palm Beach, FL; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.

    Obituary:
    Diane died on July 19, 2010, at the age of 64 at her home in New Berlin, Wis., after a courageous 12 year battle with breast cancer. She was the daughter of the late Lambert and Mathilda (nee Spietz) Verheyen. She married Robert Smits, Sr. on Oct. 1, 1966, at St. Boniface Church in De Pere, Wis.
    Survivors include three sons, Kevin Smits, Jeffrey (Heidi) Smits, and Robert Jr. (Janna) Smits; three sisters, Helen Tauscher, Elsie (Marv) Janz, and Norma Miller; one brother, Glenn (Diana) Verheyen; and fve grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, John Tauscher and Roy Miller.
    Of special note is the 19 years she worked at Vocation Central in Hales Corners for the priests of the Sacred Heart, retiring from her position due to disability.
    Our special thanks to Heartland Hospice, who cared for Diane for the last four years, especially nurse Ursella, Sr. Ellen, aide Donna and Dr, Yee Cheng and nurse Jean.
    Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 23, at 6 to 8 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at 7:45 p.m. Additional visitation at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin, on Saturday at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rev. Ken Smits, OFM Cap. (Diane's brother-in-law) officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
