    Liesch, Sylvester, C. “Sonny”Sylvester C. “Sonny” Liesch, of Menasha, age 82, passed away peaceful ly in his sleep on Wednesday morning, September 14, 2005. He was born Febr uary 18, 1923 in Appleton, WI, the son of the late Edward and Helen (Weis s) Liesch. He married Marie Mottl on August 10, 1946 at St. Mary’s Cathol ic Church in Menasha. Sylvester was a crane operator at Consolidated Pap er in Appleton until the time of his retirement in 1982. He also worked pa rt-time for Jack’s Maintenance and Jewelers Mutual.Sylvester enjoyed woodworking, fishing, watching football and just being o utdoors. He was a life time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.Sylvester is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marie; a daughter and son-i n-law, Kathy (Tim) Noffke and a grandson, Joseph Noffke of Larsen. He is f urther survived by three sisters: Delores Korth, Dorothy Tennie, and Patri cia Maloney, all of Appleton.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Frances Stein.Funeral services for Sonny will be held on Saturday, September 17, 20 05 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, wi th Father Paul Radetski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemeter y. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning f rom 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass.     Dolores Mary Korth, age 89, died peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at her home with her family at her side.
    Dolores was born on July 12, 1926 in Appleton the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Liesch. She was united in marriage to Raymond H. Korth and he preceded her in death in 1971. Dolores attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Appleton; she enjoyed spending time with her family specially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and helping her family with the Christmas tree business.
    She is survived by her five children, Betty (Tom) Bauer; Gary Korth and Noreen; David (Debbie) Korth; Dennis (Annette) Korth; and Ronald (Kim) Korth; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dolores was also preceded in death by four siblings.
    Per Dolores's wishes no services will be held.
    Dolores's family would like to extend a special thank you to Sarah, Ava, Eve and Sandy of Right at Home for all their compassion and loving care rendered unto her and her family.

    Obituary:
    Dorothy "Dot" Tennie, age 85, slipped into the arms of Jesus, her Savior and Lord, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Paul Home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on September 11, 1927, to the late Edward and Helen (Weiss) Liesch. She married Walter Tennie in 1946, living most of their married life on Coolidge Avenue, Appleton. She was employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Appleton Public Library before retirement. She and Wally enjoyed a beautiful life together, vacationing many winters in Phoenix, trips to Las Vegas, northern Wisconsin and many good times with family and friends on Coolidge Avenue. Dorothy was an excellent cook, loved crocheting, and crafting and belonged to two card clubs. Dorothy had a big heart, always there when others needed help. She had a fun-loving zest for life, loved to Polka and was devoted to her family. "Grandma Dot" was so very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Dorothy will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Marge; four grandchildren: Jessica (Travis) Haufschildt, Sherwood; Joshua Tennie, Brooklyn, Wisconsin; Alexia (Kelly) Whiteley, Kimberly; Alison (Tony) Piette, Combined Locks; five great grandchildren: Ty and Sam Whiteley; Carson, Campbell and Graham Piette. She is further survived by a sister: Delores Korth; sisters-in-law: Marie Liesch, Irene Fassbender and Veronica (Don) Herzberg, Delores Tennie and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Tennie in 1997; a brother: Sonny Liesch; sisters: Frances (John) Stein and Pat (Edward) Maloney and brothers and sisters-in-law: Ray Korth, Edward (Jeannette) Tennie, Josephine (John) Van Ryte and George Tennie, Jr.
    A memorial service for Dorothy will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Rock Church, W6254 Hwy 110-14, Menasha with Rev. Peter Leschke officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who cared for our Mother with kindness, compassion and dignity at St. Paul Home and St. Paul Hospice Program.

    MALONEY, PATRICIA M. "Poochie" Patricia Maloney, of Appleton, age 72, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home. She was born on February 12, 1937 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Weiss Liesch. On September 14, 1955 she married Edward Maloney at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton. Pat enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and making crafts with her friends. She relished the time on the water and sailing. Grandma Poochie loved spending time with her grandchildren and being around family and friends. Many will miss her zest for life and her laugh. Pat is survived by her children: Mark and Tim Maloney, Appleton; Kim Tony Wolosek and Jeff Maloney, Winneconne and Brian Maloney, Clearwater, Florida; daughter-in-law: Christina Maloney, Green Bay; grandchildren: Jennifer, Zachary, Sabrina, Tim, Jr., Nicole and Beau; great granddaughters: Brianna and Mallory; sisters: Lorrie Korth and Dorothy Tennie, Appleton; sister-in-law: Marie Liesch, Menasha and special nephew: Don Marge Tennie, Darboy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Maloney; her daughter, Nancy Maloney; son, James Maloney; infant daughter: Mary Ellen Maloney; sister, Frances John Stein; brother, Sylvester Liesch and brothers-in-law, Walter Tennie and Ray Korth. The funeral service for Patricia will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at CHRIST THE ROCK COMMUNITY CHURCH, W6254 Hwy 10-114, Menasha with Rev. John Kieffer officiating. The visitation will take place on Monday at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm conducted by Fr. Jack Harper and again at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.     Mark Maloney, of Neenah, age 58, passed away May 4, 2016 surrounded by his family. Mark passed away of injuries sustained in a work accident.
    He was born on February 14, 1958 in Appleton, the son of the late Edward and Patricia Maloney.
    Mark enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, and playing Texas Hold Em. Mark loved spending time with his family and friends. Many will miss his joy for life and his laugh.
    Mark is survived by his daughter: Jenny (Caleb) Pattee, Menasha; grandchildren: Brianna, Mallory, and Jackson, sister: Kim (Tony) Wolosek, Winneconne; brothers: Tim (Kim) Maloney, Winneconne; Jeff (Jaimee) Maloney, Winneconne; Brian (Lisa) Maloney, Clearwater, Florida; sister-in-law: Christina Maloney, Green Bay. He is further survived by nieces: Sabrina, Nicole, Bailey; nephews: Zach, Beau, Tim Jr., Logan, other relatives and friends.
    Mark was preceded in death by his sisters: Nancy Maloney and Mary Ellen Maloney, and brother: James Maloney.
    A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 3pm-7pm at Bubba's Pub, 500 9th Street, Menasha.
    The family would like to thank the staff at Theda Care for caring for Mark in the Intensive Care Unit. Special thanks to all Mark's friends, especially Anthony for assisting our family during this time.
    With Mark's death brings new hope and new life as Mark was able to donate his organs, which makes his family so very proud.
