    Doris Mae Ambrosius, 63, of 451 Orlando Dr., De Pere, died Sunday at St. Vincent Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Doris was born on June 30, 1936 in the Town of Howard to the late Benjamin and Evelyn (Stordeur) Huben. Doris married George Ambrosius on Aug. 8, 1953 at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her time with the Christian Mothers of St. Boniface.
    Survivors include her husband, George; her mother, Mrs. Benjamin (Evelyn) Huben; four sons, Dale (Cheryl), De Pere; Tom (Debbie), Pulaski; Paul, De Pere; and Jack (Lori), De Pere; two daughters, Barb
    (Tom) Spang, Green Bay; and Lois (Randy) Burt, Kaukauna; six grandchildren, Christina and Melinda Spang, Green Bay; Samantha and Robert Burt, Kaukauna; and Kyle and Megan Ambrosius, Pulaski; one brother, Robert Huben, Green Bay; and two sisters, Florence (Harold) Rentmeester, Green Bay; and Mary (Clayton) VanEnkevort, Lakewood.
    She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Patsy.
    Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 9 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes
    Catholic Church in De Pere. Entombment in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
    Memorial funds may be made to the American Cancer Society.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 9th floor staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their thoughtful and compassionate care.

    Ambrosius, Paul J. "Pud"
    Paul J. "Pud" Ambrosius, 49, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Dec. 30, 2008, at home. The son of George Ambrosius and the late Doris Mae (Huben) Ambrosius was born June 16, 1959, in Green Bay, and lived all of his life in West De Pere. He was a 1977 graduate of West De Pere High School.
    Pud enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, softball, golfing and was a fan of NASCAR racing and enjoyed following sports of all sorts. He was an original and longtime participant in the Pink Flamingo Tournament. His farm haywagon was the start of the Pink Flamingo "floats" in the annual parade. Paul took special pride in his up-north getaway where he loved fishing on Post Lake and snowmobiling around the area. He'll always be remembered for preparing the Farmhouse for the family gathering at Christmas. He was employed at Tape Inc., for 25 years until the company closed the Green Bay Plant. Pud was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
    Survivors include his father, George; brothers, Dale (Cheryl), Tom (Debbie), Jack (Lori); sisters, Barb Spang (Tom), Lois Burt (Randy); his nieces and nephews, Christina Domka (Andy), Melinda Spang (friend, Miguel), Samantha Burt, Robert Burt, Kyle Ambrosius, Megan Ambrosius; and great-nephew, Corbin Domka.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mae; maternal grandparents, Ben and Evelyn Huben; and paternal grandparents, Mathilda and George Ambrosius Sr.
    Family and Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, from 2 to 5:45 p.m. this Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Father James Baraniak, O. Praem., officiating. Entombment will be held Monday at Allouez Mausoleum.
