Van De Hei, Robert "W hitey"Robert "Whitey" Van De Hei, 69, De Pere, died Sunday July 16, 2006. He w as born October 4, 1936, in De Pere to the late Norbert and Margaert (V an Vonderen) Van De Hei. On November 5, 1960, he married Mary Lee Tes ke at St. Boniface Catholic Church De Pere. Whitey retired from Larson Can ning Company. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family De Per e. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and playing poker. Robert w as also inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame.He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee; his children, Jim Van De Hei, De Per e; Tom (Jamie) Van De Hei, Town of Lawrence; and Pat (Jen) Van De Hei, To wn of Lawrence. His grandchildren further survive: Brooklyn, Cody, Abby, A ustin, Aria, Callie, Logan, and Blake. Whitey's siblings also survive, K en (Delores) Van De Hei; Ann (Dan) O'Keefe; Rita (Pat) Gallagher; Mary Pav lovich; and Jerry (Debra) Van De Hei. Mary Lee's family also survives, Mer cille Teske; Glenn (Pat) Teske; Noreen (Al) Weber; Jerry (Mary Ann) Tesk e; Dick (Karen) Teske; Janice (Don) Rayala; and Carol Teske.He was preceded in death by his brother, James Van De Hei; and his brother s-in-law, Jim Teske and Don Teske.Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourd es Parish Family, Corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr., De Pere. Visita tion will continue after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the Ma ss of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Conrad Kratz O.Praem offici ating.
