Obituary:
Marie DeNoble, 96, Ledgeview, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007, at a local nursing home. Marie was born Aug. 5, 1910, in the town of Franklin, in Manitowoc County, to the late Joseph and Mary (Lensmeyer) Haas. She married Harry DeNoble May 29, 1935, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Harry preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1986. Marie and her husband lived and farmed all their lives in the town of De Pere, retiring in 1966. Survivors include her children, June DeNoble, Ledgeview and her special friend, Frank Burish, Cato; Roger DeNoble. Ledgeview; Janice DeNoble, Minneapolis; daughter-in-law, Beverly DeNoble; grandchildren, Sherry (Jack) Wenz, Florida; Cindy (Tony) Thelen, Reedsville; Thomas (Teresa) DeNoble, Lark; Cathy (Brian) Baumann, the town of Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Beth and Katie Thelen, Leah and Zachery DeNoble, Morgan Cornelius and Morgan's father, Greg; Amber Baumann; step-great-grandchildren, Chalice Wenz, Rachael and Dillon Horkman and a sister-in-law, Mayme Haas, Manitowoc. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; great-grandson, Mitchell DeNoble; brothers, Edward Haas, Joseph (Evelyn) Haas, Clarence (Marcella) Haas; sisters, Anna (Charles) Helfert, Agnes (Archie) Dugan, Viola (Raymond) Habermann, Leona (Thomas) Masar; Harry's brothers, Earl and Art DeNoble and Harry's sisters, Olive and Irene DeNoble. Friends may call at the Cotter Funeral Home. 860 N. Webster Av., De Pere on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Wake service 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Fr. John H. Harper officiating. Burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Kellnersville.
