    Obituary:
On Monday, September 14, 2015 we said goodbye to a wonderful, amazing, and courageous lady. Born on March 13 in 1967, Nancy Lee Romenesko (Larsen) shared a birthday with her oldest daughter Amber. She lost her battle to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), but what she brought to life was so much more. Nancy loved life and her family most of all. A devoted wife to Jeffery James Romenesko, mother of Amber Sue Romenesko (Tyler Heegeman) and Alexandria Lee Feavel (Luke James Feavel Jr). A grandmother to Alayna, Johnny, and Carter. She extended her generous motherly support to Caitlin Dvorak wholeheartedly. Nancy was a daughter to Lloyd and Vivian Larsen and James and Susan Romenesko. She was a sister to David Larsen, Jon Larsen (Kim Larsen), Deb Van Dalen (Tom Van Dalen), Michael Larsen, Andy Larsen (Nicole Larsen), Michelle Steltzer (Harald Steltzer) and Chuck Romenesko (Holly Romenesko). She was also an aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her son Jarad Lee Larsen, her mother June Deu Larsen, and brother-in-law Greg Romenesko.
Nancy was such an awesome example to us all. She stayed positive through many struggles and always found a way to see the best in all people. Nancy knew about living life to its fullest, and she loved people genuinely. She would shop endless hours to find the perfect gift for events and holidays. She loved finding bargains, garage sales, and shopping with her girls. She loved driving for Domino's in Neenah. Nancy was an avid golfer who would consistently beat her husband's score. A competitive gamer by nature from card games from whirlpool to cribbage. If Nancy was in the game, she was in it to win! How much we all loved her spirit. But most of all, Nancy loved living life. Even through her health struggles, Nancy always chose to stay positive and live life to the fullest. She was an example to many. May she fly free with the birds!
Sincerely thanks and gratitude extended to the University of Wisconsin Madison Carbone Cancer Center, Saint Elizabeth's Hospital, and the Heartland Palliative care team.
Nancy's life will be celebrated with a service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to this year's Down Syndrome's walk on October 3rd in Neenah (Cruisin' with Carter) are being collected.
