Obituary:
Linda Mae Schnell, 80, Appleton, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born May 26, 1926, in the Town of Woodville in Calumet County. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Dora (Keller) Loefer. Linda married Leslie Schnell on June 12, 1948, at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. For 28 years she farmed with her husband on Harvestor Road in Forest Junction. In 1976 they moved to Appleton.
Linda is survived by her husband, Leslie Schnell; son, Don and Cindy Schnell, Indiana; daughter, Kay and Kal Overlien, Seymour; four grandchildren, Adam and Lorie Schnell, Minnesota; Vanessa Schnell, Indiana; Aaron Overlien, California; and Tiffany Overlien, Seymour; two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Austin Schnell and sister, Erna Huebner, Appleton.
She was preceded in death by sister, Hilda and Bert Stanelle and brother-in-law, Merlin Huebner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick J. Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
