Obituary:
Gerald F. Jaskolski, age 75, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday evening, May 9, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. He was born November 25, 1931, in Green Bay, the son of the late Frank and Lucille (Zuleger) Jaskolski. On March 31, 1951, he was united in marriage to LaVon Barth at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour. She preceded him in death last year on July 17. Gerald was employed as a truck driver, farmer, carpenter, enjoyed growing flowers in his greenhouse and operated Jerry's Garden. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour.
He is survived by his children: Gary (Kathy) Jaskolski, Seymour; Laurie (Gary) Rudnick, Seymour; Tim (Laurie) Jaskolski, Amherst Junction; Greg (Shelly) Jaskolski, Oconto; Lisa (Dan) Smith, Green Bay; Todd (Sheryl) Jaskolski, Black Creek; Jennifer (Al) Larson, Appleton; Kari (Dennis) Paulson, Seymour; Ann (Brian) Mueller, Seymour; and Cindy Laaro, Appleton. He is further survived by his twenty-four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and a special neighbor who was like a daughter, Judy (Lenny) Polczinski; a sister, Joan (Charles) Kimball; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen (Jerry) Hoefs, all of Seymour. Also, three nephews: Mark (Tami) Kimball, Dale (Julie) Kimball and Steve (Alisa) Hoefs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, Debra Jaskolski; a step-granddaughter; his parents-in-law, Sanford and Leona Barth; brother-in-law, Keith Barth; one niece and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 915 Ivory St., Seymour, with Father Robert Kabat officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 9-11. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Seymour. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
