News Mention:
Sister Eugenia (Gardina) Kaster, born in Freedom, made her profession in 1950. She received a bachelor's degree from Dominican College in 1965, an LPN degree from the former Kenosha Technical Institute in 1972 and chaplain certification from St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee in 1978. She taught at St. Benedict, Milwaukee; St. Charles, Burlington; St. Rita, Racine; and other Wisconsin schools. She was an LPN at St. Luke's Hospital from 1978 to 1981, and served as chaplain there from 1981 to 1987. She served as pastoral minister for the former St. Catherine's Infirmary at Siena Center. She has retired.
