    Obituary:
    Jean F. Vanden Heuvel, 88, of Seymour passed away Thursday morning, May 7, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born June 16, 1926, daughter of the late Frank and Myra (Kuehne) Vanden Heuvel.
    She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. Jean worked in Appleton at the Conway Hotel and St. Elizabeth Hospital. For 14 years she worked at Valley Packaging Industries in Appleton. When she retired she came back to the family farm to live with Jerome.
    Jean enjoyed traveling with family and friends, loved parades, the Green Bay Packers, Seymour fair, basketball and putting puzzles together when watching the cooking channel. She loved to celebrate birthdays and when in doubt if there was anything we wanted to know Jean had the details about family events and dates.
    She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Franklin "Bud" (Audrey) Vanden Heuvel, Seymour; Jerome Vanden Heuvel, Seymour; Robert (Carolyn) Vanden Heuvel, Port Washington; Nancy (Richard) Stephani, Sheboygan; Kate (John) Avery, Colorado; Joyce (Herb) Grulke, Green Bay; Audrey (Tom) Zuleger, Denmark; sister-in-law, Doris Vanden Heuvel, Gilbert, AZ; 21 nieces and nephews; 38 great nieces and nephews.
    Jean is preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and William.
    Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
    Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.
    A special thank you to Charyl, who was Jean's very special caregiver, the staff at St. Mary's Hospital, Unity Hospice and Jean's neighbors for all the visits over the years.
