Obituary:
Joan E. Skenandore, (nee Landgraf) of Oconomowoc, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at home with her loved ones at her side, after a courageous and long battle with Cancer, at the age of 76 years. Joan was born in Appleton on November 28, 1933 the daughter of Harold and Viola Landgraf. She lived in Chilton from 1941 to 1954 and always considered Chilton as her home town. Joan attended St. Mary's Elementary School and Chilton High School graduating in 1952. After 21 years of service, Joan retired from the Waukesha County Health and Human Services in 2006. Joan's greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Joan is survived by her loving children;
son, Charles (Linda) and their daughter, Sarah;
daughter, Debra (Kevin) Johnson, and their daughter, Tanya, and Tanya's daughter, Caitlyn; and their son, Dustin (fiancée Jessica Schultz), and his son, Josh;
son, Michael (Debbie) and their son, Colton and daughter, Vanessa;
son, Thomas and his son, Tyler and daughter, Kayla and their mother Laura;

sister, Catherine (John) Korb and family.

Joan was preceded in death by parents;
sister, Mary Helen Voecks;
brothers, Edward and John Landgraf.

The funeral mass for Joan will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Reverend Jason Lavann will be officiating. The visitation will be on Friday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the 5:00 p.m. mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to AngelsGrace Hospice, W359 N7430 Brown St., Oconomowoc, WI 53066 or to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 2700 Patriot Blvd., Suite 200, Glenview, IL 60026. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. LeMarbe and his staff, Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice, AngelsGrace Hospice and Shorehaven of Oconomowoc for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Joan and her family during her illness.
