    William R. Kempen, Kaukauna, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at the age of 76. The son of the late Raymond and Mary Kempen was born in Appleton and raised in Freedom where he attended high school. Bill was a jack of all trades sharing his talents with many others throughout his adult life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and would do anything to make his family and friends happy.
    Bill is survived by his son Patrick (Lynn) Kempen, daughter Pam (Rob) Fredericks, 7 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by 6 brothers Vernon (Joan), Floyd (Diane), John (Angie), Raymond (Carla), David and Rick (Pam) Kempen; 2 sisters Germain Hermans and Patricia (Dan) Buchinger, nieces and nephews; Dorothy's family Ruth (Paul) Stumpf, Charlie (Judy) Mader, Mike (Becky) Mader, Marie Zirbel and Karen Mader.
    He was preceded in death by his loving companion Dorothy Kempen, brother Leo, sister Carla Mae, brothers-in-law John Hermans and James Mader, sisters-in-law Debra Kempen, Ann Stumpf and Barb Wolfinger and his step father Jerome Seavers.
    Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday November 27, 2017 at Holy Spirit Parish, 602 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly with Fr. Bob Kollath presiding. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service.
