    Mary M. Look, Little Chute, age 82, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007. She was born in Appleton on October 17, 1925, to the late Anton and Dora (Boes) Van Berkel. Prior to marriage, Mary worked for the telephone company and as a dental assistant in Appleton. On June 26, 1948, she married Robert Look at St. Joseph Parish in Appleton. They operated Look's Hardware in Little Chute and Kaukauna for 40 years. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute where she was a past member of the St. Elizabeth Society. Mary was an avid reader. In her earlier years, she enjoyed square dancing and sewing. Other pastimes include cooking and knitting. She could always be counted on to capture family moments in pictures. Upon retirement, Mary and Robert enjoyed traveling. She cherished her grandchildren and spent a great deal of time on the computer conversing with them through e-mail. She also enjoyed time spent with family and friends at the family cottage at Archibald Lake.
    Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert; three daughters: Patricia Look, Neenah; Peg (Richard) Salm, Little Chute; and Amy (Joe) Beno, Little Chute; nine grandchildren: Heidi (Thad) Kreitz, Robyn (Bryan) Strum, Corey (Tammy) Salm, Toni Salm, M.D., Richard Salm Jr. D.D.S., Cindy Salm, M.D., Scott, Katie and Kurt Beno; four great grandchildren: Corey Jr. and Adam Salm, Emma and Ben Kreitz; and brother and sisters-in-law: Tony De Quardo, Lucille Reynebeau, Dorothy Lamers, Margaret Look and Ellie Van Berkel. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, George and Celia Look; brothers and sisters: Msgr. Sylvester P. Van Berkel, Helen De Quardo, Raymond Van Berkel and Agnes Hickinbotham; her nephew (raised as a brother) Gerald Van Berkel; brothers-in-law: Ray Look, Joe Reynebeau and Tom Lamers.
    Visitation will begin Friday, November 30, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. until the time of Mass at 5:30 p.m. at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute). Her nephew, the Rev. Thomas Reynebeau will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Douglas Meyer.

    Van Berkel, Gerald Raym ondGerald Raymond Van Berkel, of Sturgeon Bay, 72, passed away on July 15, 20 06, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on Feb ruary 14, 1934, in Appleton to the late Raymond and Ruth (Hein) Van Berke l. Jerry served his country with the Air Force for 20 years. After retiri ng from the Air Force he worked for Brennan Frasier Roofing and Siding com pany as a sales manager for 20 years. On April 11, 1956, he married Eleano re Fryfogle, they just recently shared their 50th wedding anniversary. Jer ry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton where he attend ed school as a youngster. He was a proud member of both the VFW and the Am erican Legion. Jerry's hobbies included golfing and fishing. He enjoyed h is Winter months in Florida and golfing with his retired Air Force friend s.Survivors include, his wife, Eleanore "Ellie"; Aunt Mary and Uncle Bob Loo k, of Little Chute; Peg and Dick Salm, Little Chute; Patricia Look, Neena h; Amy and Joe Beno, Little Chute; cousin, Sis Asman, of Valders; sister-i n-law, LaRue (Dick) Hunt, of Hortonville; brothers-in-law, Larry (Lynn) Fr yfogle, of Appleton; Gary (Judy) Fryfogle, Appleton; and Orville (Linda) C rane, of Greenville; special friends, Jodie and Paul Brennan; several step -sisters and step-brothers; and other relatives and friends too numero us to mention.He was preceded in death by, his mother, Dolly, and step-father, Robert Ki mball; his father, Ray Van Berkel, and step-mother Jane; Uncle, Msgr.
