Obituary:
Kenneth J. Meehl, age 85, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center in Little Chute following a brief illness. He was born to the late Sylvester and Isabella (Stumpf) Meehl on March 18, 1930.
Ken farmed the family farm until his retirement. He had an interest in antique farm machinery, antique autos, and attending the yearly Iola Car Show. During his later years, Ken enjoyed traveling and visited all 48 continental states. He also was a fan of polka music and attended the final Sunday Polka Dance at Romy's Nightingale.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents. He will be missed by many close friends and relatives.
Funeral service for Ken will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at ST. JOHN-SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, SHERWOOD, N369 Military Road, Sherwood with Fr. David Funk officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.
