Obituary:
Debra Jean Allwardt, 52, passed away peacefully in her sleep, when her golden heart stopped beating at 2:55 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, following a four month courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and cancer. Debbie also battled Myasthenia Gravis for 38 years and Lupus for the past decade. She was born July 8, 1954, to Otto and LouAnn (Drawenek) Luedtke, in Kaukauna, and was an area resident most of her life. Debra was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and enjoyed doing crafts and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Gary M. Allwardt, whom she married Aug. 10, 1974, in Kaukauna; her son, Jason G. Allwardt, Appleton; her daughter, Leah Ann (Brian) Hanson, Menasha; three grandchildren, Daemon Allwardt, Otis and Colton Hanson; her mother and stepfather, LouAnn (Jerry) Otte, Deming, N.M.; a brother, Todd (Lois) Luedtke and their children, Nathan (Melissa), Brandon and Andrew, Little Chute; a sister, Victoria (Russell) Schmidt and their children, Jennifer and Jacqueline, Wabeno; two stepbrothers and a stepsister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Luedtke and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Meyer and Mr. and Mrs. William Luedtke.
It was Debra's wishes there be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for:
