    Notes:

    Obituary:
Judith A. Vander Heyden, age 71 of Appleton, passed away on April 12, 2016. Judy was born on December 20, 1944 in Appleton Wisconsin to Orville and Anita (Ehlke) Vander Heyden. She attended and graduated from High School in Robinsonville at what is now called the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Hope. She received her post-secondary education with the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross in Bay Settlement, Wisconsin.
Judy was a person of very deep and strong faith. God was the cornerstone of her life. She was a devout Catholic who spent much of her time in prayer and devotion. When she was young, she found that caring for others was for her, the most rewarding work she could do. She spent many years working as a caregiver, most recently with the Visiting Nurses Association and Home Instead Hospice.
She also lived with her mother for several years, and she and Anita helped care for each other. Most recently, in her home at Brewster Village, she enjoyed getting together with her friends, especially Norma, to watch The Rosary on EWTN and pray the Rosary together.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Fr. William "Bill" Vander Heyden of Sarasota Florida and her sister Mary (Bill) Nackers of Appleton. She is further survived by her nephew Tom (Kerry) Nackers and their children Taylor and Kendall as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one nephew Brian Nackers and a baby brother Tommy.
Family and friends may gather at the Wichmann Fargo Funeral Home, Oneida Street location on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 4:00pm to 5:45pm. There will be a funeral service on Sunday at 6:00pm with her brother, Fr. William Vander Heyden officiating. For more information and to express condolences, please visit www.wichmannfargo.com.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established. The family would like to thank the nurses, staff and residents of Brewster Village and the Depot for the care, kindness and friendship extended to Judy.
As we say goodbye, Mom, Dad, Tommy and Brian are saying "Welcome Home Judy".
Well done good and faithful servant.
