    Lemmens, Lorraine E. Lorraine Edna (Rusch) Lemmens, of Little Chute, passed away on October 31, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center with her family at her side. She was born March 15, 1918, in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Godfrey and Anna Rusch. She married Henry Lemmens in November of 1934.
    Lorraine and Hank shared a love of northern Wisconsin, spending many years camping and snowmobiling in various places up north and eventually retired to Townsend. Lorraine had a love of music, which included dancing, playing the organ and listening to country music. She was an avid crafter, including knitting, crocheting and needlework. She had a great spirit and adored visiting with family and friends. Lorraine was proud of her 43 years of service to the Appleton Wire Works. Lorraine had many wonderful pet dogs throughout the years. Most recently, she was saddened by the loss of her constant companion, her dog Sammy.
    Lorraine is survived by a son, Gerald (RoseMarie) Lemmens, grandson, Rick (Michelle) Lemmens, great-grandsons: Matthew Lemmens and Derek Lemmens; granddaughter, Wendy (Paul) Berghuis, great-granddaughter, Hannah Berghuis, daughter, Marlene Baril Borchardt, grandson, Randall (Mary) Baril, great-granddaughter, Stacy (Andy) Huss; great- great-granddaughter, Grace Huss; great-granddaughters: Tiffany Baril and Tammy Baril; granddaughter, Brenda Larson, great-grandson Kurtis Larson, granddaughter, Gwen Baril, grandson Robby (Jody) Baril, sister, Norma Martineau, and sister-in-law, Catherine Moss.
    Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, Henry Lemmens; son, Dennis Lemmens; grandson, Scott Lemmens; sons-in-law Raymond Baril and Arthur Borchardt; brothers, Roland Rusch and Harold Rusch; sisters-in-law, Genevieve Rusch, Marge Rusch and Martha Rusch; brothers-in-law, Ralph Martineau and John Lemmens; and a sister-in-law Ruth Lemmens.
    Funeral services for Lorraine will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007, at JANSEN-FARGO FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery, Kaukauna. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lorraine's name may be sent to the Fox Valley Humane Association, N115 Two Mile Road, Appleton, 54914.
    The family would like to thank Lorraine's friends and neighbors for their kindness and generosity. Lorraine's love of laughter and feistiness will be sorely missed.

    Norma L. Martineau, Sherwood, age 89, died peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at American Grand. She was born on December 3, 1923, daughter of the late Godfrey and Anna (Pagel) Rusch. On October 25, 1946 Norma married Ralph Martineau at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. The couple lived in the area their entire married lives and enjoyed 56 years together prior to Ralph's death in 2001. The most important thing to Norma was family. She was very faithful and devoted to them her whole life.
    Norma is survived by her daughter, Linda (Art) Wittmann, Sherwood; 2 grandchildren: Kristin (Tom) Uitenbroek, great granddaughter Sophia, Darboy and Scott Wittmann, Sherwood; numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, 2 brothers: Roland (1st wife Geneva, 2nd wife Margret) Rusch and Harold (Martha) Rusch; and a sister, Lorraine (Henry) Lemmons. She is further preceded in death by her husband's family: Helen (Lawrence) Hagens and Ceil (Henry) Coonen.
    Funeral services for Norma will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 124 W. 10th St., Kaukauna with Paster Levi Willms officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 (TONIGHT) at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
    The family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. David Ebben, Terri and Lynn, American Grand and Asera Care Hospice for their care, compassion and concern.

    Judy Etta Gavaert (Rusch, Swick) passed into eternal life after a four year struggle with numerous illnesses, surrounded by her family on September 26, 2015, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Judy was born to the late Roland Sr. and Geneva Rusch on September 25, 1943. She attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Grade School and was a lifelong member of the church. She graduated from Kimberly High School in 1961. Judy married her high school sweetheart, Royal Swick on October 6, 1962 and was blessed with 4 boys, who meant the world to her. She married the second love of her life, James Gavaert, on June 7, 1984. Jim brought an additional 3 children into Judy's life and she loved them like her own.
    Family and friends meant everything to Judy. Her favorite times were spent with Jim and the kids on Shawano Lake, at the Swick cabin, and involving herself in her children's sports or watching her grandchildren in their various activities. Judy is survived by her second husband, James Gavaert, her four sons, Gary (Kay) Swick, Guy (Patsy) Swick, Ryan (Lori) Swick, and Reed (Amy) Swick, three step-children, Craig Gavaert, Alan (Shannon) Gavaert and Bev (Russ) Keller. Judy is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Bailie and Brice, Spencer and Morgan, Hannah and Sophia, Hallorin, Royal, Katherine and Elizabeth Swick, and Jamie and Lindsey Keller; a brother Roland Jr. (Carol) Rusch; brothers-in-law: Dick (Marge) Swick, Earl (Darlene) Gavaert; sisters-in-law: MaryAnn Swick, Marilyn Kamps, Jean Swick, Jacci (Dave) Vandehey, Jill (Tom) Haufe, Sharon (Bernie) Hackel, and Joanne Verkuilen; special friends, Corrine Schroeder, Jackie Miller and Mary Ceil Buss; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
    In addition to her parents, step-mom Marge, in-laws: Glen and Anna Swick, and Sylvan and Helen Gavaert, Judy was preceded in death by her first husband, Royal Swick; grandson, Justin Swick, siblings, Norbert (Carol) Rusch, Evelyn Rusch and Patricia (Dale) Olson; in-laws, Bill Swick, Bud Kamps, Pat (Age) Vande Burgt, Butch Swick, Don Verkuilen, Bob Verkuilen and special family friend Roger Schroeder.
    Judy held various jobs where she met many amazing people. Some of these were AAL, Wydeven Insurance and various banking institutions. She and Jim were co-owners of the Forrest Run Pet Cemetery and Jim Gavaert Realty.
    Judy was an amazing woman who put everyone in front of herself. She loved the Packers, Badgers and the Kimberly Papermakers. Judy loved life to the fullest and was a mom to many. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
    Visitation will be held at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2015. Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, N8728 Coop Road, Menasha, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.     Gerald R. Lemmens, 78, Neenah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 15, 1937, in Little Chute, son of Henry and Lorraine (Rusch) Lemmens. Gerald married his high school sweetheart, Rosemarie Gerdin, June 13, 1957. He enjoyed going up north to their cottage on Big Horse Head Lake, Presque Isle, WI. He loved dogs and being in the outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. He was always tinkering or building something, an all around handyman.
    Gerald is survived by his wife of 58 years: Rosemarie; 2 children: Wendy (Paul) Berghuis, Brillion; and Rick (Michelle) Lemmens, Neenah; three grandchildren: Matthew and Derek Lemmens and Hannah Berghuis; a sister, Marlene Borchardt, Kimberly; many other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Gerald was also preceded in death by his son: Scott Lemmens and a brother Dennis Lemmens.
    Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. Wednesday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Neenah Animal Shelter.

    Todd A. Rusch passed away peacefully after a long battle with illness on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

    Todd was born on July 15, 1961 in Kaukauna the son of Roland and Nancy (Jansen) Rusch, Jr., Following his education Todd worked at Midtech, Alpha Prime and Accurate Converter. Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing helping others and a beer.
    Todd is survived by his parents, Roland and Carol Rusch, Jr. Sherwood; and his siblings, Lynn (Bob) Nelson, Greenville; Connie (John) Wolfgram, Appleton; Ginger (Rick) Cotton, Little Chute; Kari (Andy) Brown, New London; Mark Porter, Appleton; and Eddie (Lisa) Porter, Little Chute; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy in 1984 and a sister, Tina in 2001.
    A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Valley Funeral Home with Chaplain Ron Reihl officiating. Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery Kaukauna. Todd's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for Genesis.
    Todd's family would like to extend a special thank you to Rich and Larry, Chaplain Ron and the nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
