Obituary:
WILLIAM FREDRICK LINDOW was born in Europe, Feb. 14, 1868. He came to this country with his parents and settled in Wisconsin in 1873, and was married to Miss Anna BLOY, Sept. 30, 1890. To this union were born eight children - five girls and three boys. One boy passed away in infancy. Mr. LINDOW departed this life Dec. 10, 1918, at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 26 days. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and seven children: Arthur E. LINDOW, Mrs. Grover C. BESS, Misses Lucy, Clara, Della, Mable and Master Raymond, and one grand-daughter, Anna Lucile BESS. He also leaves two brothers and one sister: John A. LINDOW and Emil P. LINDOW of Hillsboro, Ore., and Mrs. John BLOY of Portland, Ore. Also many friends and neighbors to share the burden of sorrow that comes to us all in this dark hour of bereavement.
Mr. LINDOW was a Christian man. Early in life he made his peace with God and became a member of the Evangelical church and later in life was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness. He was always striving to do His Master's will and when the call came he was ready to lie down this life and accept the summons of His Master.
Deceased had only been a sick a short time and at the time of his death was so improved that he was looking after his business interests as usual. When he returned to the house for dinner and lied down to rest the summons came very unexpectedly, no one knowing just at the time it came as he passed away so quietly and peacefully.
Mr. LINDOW with his family, moved four miles south of Beaver, Okla., about two years ago. He was laid to rest in the Beaver cemetery.
