    Henry Bosch, 79, 1726 N. Erb street died at 2 o'clock this morn ing after a lingering illness. He was born Aug. 22, 1860, in Germany and lived in Appleton since 1886. He formerly was employed at the Tuttle Press. Mr. Bosch was a member of St. Therese church, St. Joseph society and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin. Surviving are Mrs. Hugh McKernan, Pasadena; Mrs. Raymond Bissing, route 3, Appleton: Mrs. Otto Schemm, Mrs. Louis Peters, Miss Josephine and Miss Clara Boch, Appleton; three sons, Peter, Joseph, Appleton; Paul, Combined Locks, and 25 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St Therese church by the Rev. M. A. Hauch. The body will leave Wichmann Funeral home at 8:30. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7'30 this evening by St. Joseph society and at 7:30 Friday evening by the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.     George J. Bosch, 80, Combined Locks, passed away on December 20, 2014 with his family at his side. George was born on January 12, 1934 in Combined Locks to Paul and Julietta (Bruecker) Bosch. George was a lifelong resident of Combined Locks, being born at home and later building his family home on the same site. He was a 1952 graduate of St. John's High School in Little Chute. On February 17, 1954 he married the former Margaret Frassetto at Holy Name Catholic Church and George and Margaret enjoyed over 60 years together. He was employed as a mechanic with Thilmany Pulp and Paper, retiring at age 62. George loved camping and travel. He always enjoyed camping with his family and traveling coast to coast with Margaret. He loved road trips. He was a former Combined Locks Village President and Trustee. He was a member of the Civic Center Committee, chaired the Fox Valley Sewage Commission, was a past member of the CLAA and spent many years as a volunteer fire fighter.
    He will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret, Children: Lois (Terry) Frank of Sherwood; Lynn (Jim) Michels of Fond du Lac; Barb (Bruce) Carlson of Statesville, North Carolina; Mike (Connie) Bosch of Combined Locks; Dick (Therese) Bosch of the Town of Harrison; Jim Bosch of Milwaukee; Greg (Terri) Bosch of Combined Locks; grandchildren: Aaron and Justin Frank; Jessica (Drew) Herrmann; Sara (Aaron) Westra; Trisha (Brian) Krautkramer; Joe (Lindsey) Michels; Ken and Keith Carlson; Ben Bosch; Angie (fiancé Kyle Hartzheim) Bosch; Megan Bosch; Jamie Bosch; Grant and Evan Bosch; great-grandchildren: Kiva and Ruby Carman-Frank; Genevieve and Iain Frank; Nora Westra: Jacob Krautkramer; Keegan Michels; Halle Hietpas; Jordyn Bosch; his sister Ruth Hanson of Englewood Colorado; his identical twin brother Leo J (Barbara) Bosch as well as many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; Margaret's parents; infant son Ronald; infant daughter Julie; his sister Sylvia; his brother Paul.
    A gathering of family and friends will be held at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home of Kimberly on Tuesday December 23, 2014 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Memorial Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 4:00 pm with Deacon Steve Vande Hey and Mark Van Thiel concelebrating.     Harold Peter Bissing, 93, went to greener pastures on Wednesday, October 1, 2014; just three days short of what would have been his 65th wedding anniversary. He was born on March 12, 1921 to the late Raymond and Theresa (Bosch) Bissing on the family farm. He joined the military in 1943 and served until March of 1946, during World War II as a Military Policeman. As a Corporal, Harold guarded military prisoners and served as guard on trains. He did town patrol and interior guard duty, assisted in the enforcement of military laws and regulations, and the maintenance of order and control of traffic. He assisted civilian police in securing compliance with civil laws by military personnel. The majority of his army life he guarded prisoners engaged in work details, and accompanied prisoners transported to distant camps.
    Upon returning home, he met Dorothy Locy and they married October 4, 1949, in Appleton. Harold worked over 40 years at various trucking companies including Kroger, Krambo, Concrete Pipe and Hennes. He enjoyed his many years of truck driving. He was given the blessing of opportunity to travel all over the United States and overseas during his life time. Traveling was his dream and he and Dorothy definitely accomplished it.
    He is survived by three daughters; Peg (James) Steffen, Barb Bissing, and Deb (Ronald) Ivacic and five grandsons; Daniel, Ryan (Jodi), Jeremiah, Phillip and Matthew. He is further survived by his sisters and brothers in law; Delores Bissing, Lois Bissing, Wayne (Pat) Locy, Jim (Betty) Locy, Gerald (Mary Ellen) Locy, Tom (Deb) Locy, Mary Gloudemans and Alice (Bob) Weyers as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, mother and father in law, Henry and Geraldine Locy, brothers Raymond, Leo and Floyd Bissing, brothers in law; Dave, Don and John Locy, Roger Gloudemans, Gene Driessen and sisters in law; Delores Driessen, Florence, Yvonne and Ruth Locy.
    Honoring Harold's wishes, a private funeral service will be held.

    Gordon L. Peters, age 81, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday afternoon, May 5, 2009. He was born November 15, 1927, to the late Ludwig "Louis" and Kathryn (Bosch) Peters, in Appleton, where he was a resident all of his life. Gordy served with the U. S. Navy during WW II, in the Pacific Theatre aboard the USS Phaeon, Hector and ARD-15. He was a life member and three-time commander of Grand Chute VFW Post #8642 and a member of the Appleton American Legion Post #38. Gordy was very involved in the VFW and veteran's affairs, their poppy sales and cherished his friendships with his comrades. He was a manufacturing engineer with Appleton Mills where he was employed for 44 years. Gordy enjoyed the outdoors his entire life and loved hunting, fishing and gardening, along with a lifelong interest in antique tractors and farm machinery. He was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Appleton Mills Quarter Century Club.
    Family meant everything to Gordy and he was very proud of his two daughters: Kathleen Schommer and Ardyce Peters, his son-in-law, Michael Schommer, his only grandchild, Sara (Neil) Brandon and his two great-granddaughters: Athena and Ella. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Janet Halverson; three brothers-in-law: Allen "Tony" (Joyce) Vogel, William (Marliese) Vogel, Pat Forni; special friend and caregiver, Cathy Clark; special friend, Mary Vij; special neighbors and friends, Phil and Regina Zuleger; his special friends on Lake Poygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Marianne E. Peters, April 25, 2009, and two sisters, Ardyce (Tom) Peterman and Lois Forni.
    The funeral liturgy for Gordon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 West Marquette Street, with Father Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Innichement will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call a t the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Joan was born April 13, 1958, in Appleton, daughter of Ray and Delores (Geurts) Bissing. She attended Xavier High School, graduating in 1976, and furthered her education at Fox Valley Technical College, receiving a degree in both Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design. Joan traveled to San Francisco to work for Macy's, and later was a fashion buyer for HC Pranges in Green Bay. On July 11, 1998, Joan was united in marriage to Bob Waldusky. He was the love of her life! Joan was very active with the people of the Adult Daycare Center, Oshkosh. Her honest personality and ability to listen effectively was welcomed and loved by many there. She enjoyed dancing, watching movies, going out to eat, and traveling, and was always up for a spontaneous adventure! Joan was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Neenah, and the Salvation Army, Menasha.Joan will be missed by her loving husband, Bob; daughter, Lindsey Bissing; step-son, Robbie Waldusky; mother, Delores; sister-in-law, Jane (Dan) VonFeldt; brother-in-law, Mike (Karen) Waters; siblings: Joe (Peggy) Bissing, Mary (Brian) Olson, Dick (Rachelle) Bissing, and Jackie (Nick) Thuren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her father, Ray; sister, Jan Bissing-Waters; sister-in-law, Sarah Huberty; and father-in-law, Archie Waldusky.The celebration of Joan's life will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014. The first service will be at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Road, Neenah. There will be a second service at the Salvation Army, 1525 Appleton Road, Menasha, at 5:30 p.m., with visitation from 4:30-5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.Joan's family would like to sincerely thank all of her caregivers who provided comfort and joy to her life. You were a blessing to all of us!
