    Obituary:
    Carence (Sam) J. Nooyen, 88, Green Bay passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the loving presence of his family. He was the son of Henry and Margaret (VanDuyse) Nooyen along with the affectionate love of Adele Nooyen. Sam married the love of his life Lola VanBeek and they celebrated 65 years together. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II attached to the 807th Aviation Engineering Battalion obtaining the rank of Tec fifth grade until his honorable discharge in 1946. Sam was awarded the American Theater Service Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Medal, three overseas bars and a good conduct medal. He was a lifelong member of the Bellevue Winiecki Post #9677. Sam was a carpenter by trade working for reputable companies in the Green Bay area but spent the majority of his working years at Roland Murphy where he created many long lasting friendships. In his retirement years Sam especially enjoyed his time working with Tony Brice. He enjoyed his leisure time with his wife Lola, his family and friends.
    Clarence is survived by his children David (Mary) Nooyen, Cheryl (Harry) Baenen, Kevin (Jean) Nooyen, Steven Nooyen, Grandchildren, Angela, Sarah (Mike), Jeffrey (Lisa), Cheri, Michelle, great-grandchildren, Maggie, Mitchell, Kyle, Tyler, CJ and Austin, brothers and sisters Raymond (Joyce) Nooyen, Melvin (Geraldine) Nooyen, Marvin (Mary Ann) Nooyen, Henry John (Janice) Nooyen, Shirley (Roger) Liebeck, Darlene (Richard) Stedl, Bernard Nooyen, Joyce White, Diane (Charles) Harper, Janet Estey. Also, his family by marriage Dorothy VanBellinger, Patricia Matzke, Arnold (Barb) VanBeek, Geraldine Gauthier and his many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
    Gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church 1494 9th Street. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dane Radecki, O.Praem officiating. Immediately following the church service a Full Military Funeral Honors Service will be held in recognition of Sam's dedication and devotion to his country Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum.
    The family would like to offer a special thank-you to the staff of Unity Hospice for all of their loving care and concern. Also, a warm note of appreciation to Dr. Jules Blank and Steven Bollom and their staff for their kindness and compassion.
