    Obituary:
    Scott A. Vande Voort, 57, of Stevens Point, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was born April 27, 1955, to Richard and Celina (Jacobs) Vande Voort in Green Bay.
    Following graduation from East High School, Scott served his country proudly aboard the U.S.S. Ranger from June 1974 until June 1977 when he received the national defense service medal.
    His hobbies included fishing, biking and a love for music.
    Survivors include his mother and his five sisters, Becky Barth, Julie Perrigoue, Lori Klarkowski, Linda Woldt, all of Green Bay; Sandie Armsworthy, San Diego; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, along with his former wife, Darlene and her son, Craig. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Richard, his brother, Keith and two sets of grandparents.
    He will be remembered and missed by family and many friends, especially Doug.
    Memorial arrangements are incomplete at this time, but will be held at a later date in Stevens Point.
