    Florence "Red" Giordana, age 90, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Paul Home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 22, 1927 in Two Rivers, WI to the late Wendolin and Elizabeth (Nahm) Weigel. On October 2, 1948, "The Feast of the Guardian Angel", Red married Frank Giordana at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. The couple enjoyed 67 years together prior to his death on March 7, 2016. Florence was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna.
    Red graduated from Chilton High School in 1945, Outagamie Rural Normal School in 1947, and University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1967. She taught school at WRAY School in Chilton, Wis. 1947-1948, Old Glory, town of Hobart 1948-1950, Sacred Heart School in Sherwood 1965-1967, and Kimberly Area Schools from 1967-1987, when she retired.
    She was a member of Outagamie Retired Teachers, Wisconsin State Teachers, and St. Al's Church. Red was a member of Sweet Adelines for 25 years. She especially enjoyed her Monday card group. Bowling, golf and bingo were other favorite activities.
    Red and Frank were charter members of the Cabaret Dance Club. Camping, traveling and spending time up north with their family were cherished memories.
    Florence is survived by her children: Jeane, John (Bonnie), Jay (Nancy), Jerry Giordana: grandchildren: Angela, Uriah (Monique), Nick, Jon (Brooke) Giordana, Damon (Marie), Dean (Amy), Davis (special friend, Stephanie) Voights, Valerie (Brandon) Hutsen, Melanie (David) Balthazor, Corey (special friend, Chelsey), Brent (special friend, Skye), Antonio Giordana; son-in-law, David Voights; 12 great-grandchildren: Lexi, Morgan, Carson, Mason, Aubrey and Baby G. to come, Elizabeth, Emma, Mya, Miranda, Kalia, Liliana and Boden. Sisters: Elizabeth "Ruth" Kupka, Margarette "June" (Frank) Hallfeld, Sharon Goetsch (John) and Virginia Johnson; brothers: Joseph (Penny) and Carl (special friend, Pat) Weigel, and Jerry (Carol) Amerpohl; Red is further survived by her husband's sister, Janice (Bob) Hammen, sisters-in-law: LaDonna, Lorraine "Butter" and Sally Giordana; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, daughters, Wendy Voights and Joy Marie Giordana and brothers-in-law, Robert Kupka and Jerry Johnson, nephew, Mike Kupka and niece Fuychsia Jewell.
    Funeral services for Red will be at 12 noon on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Mary Church, 119 West Seventh St., Kaukauna. Friends may call on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service concluding the evening. Voights, Kaukauna, age 60, after a courageous battle with cancer, Wendy came to peace with God at home with her loving family at her side in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, on Saturday, October 04, 2014. She was born March 2, 1954 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, daughter of Frank and Florence (Weigel) Giordana. Wendy graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1972.Wendy married David Dewayne Voights on March 23, 1974. They enjoyed 40 years of wedded bliss. Wendy was an active member of the Catholic Church at Saint Katharine Drexel Parish. Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.
    Wendy is survived by her husband, David Voights, Kaukauna; daughter, Valerie Voights and Brandon Hutsen, Mukwonago; sons: Damon (Marie) Voights, Combined Locks; Dean (Amy) Voights, Appleton; and Davis Voights, Appleton; parents, Frank and Florence Giordana, Kaukauna; her sister, Jeane Giordana, Clintonville; brothers: John (Bonnie) Giordana, Little Chute; Jay (Nancy) Giordana, Kaukauna; Jerry Giordana and Tracy Heim, Green Bay; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Emma, Mya, and Miranda Voights. She was preceded in death by her sister Joy Marie Giordana.
    The Mass of Christian Burial for Wendy will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Aloysius Church, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Friends may call again directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service.
