    Pohlman, Linda Mary (Hovde)
    Linda Mary (Hovde) Pohlman, 57, Kimberly, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She was born on December 6, 1950, in Chicago to Leland and Dorothy (Bayer) Hovde. Linda graduated from St. John the Evangelist Elementary School in 1964 and graduated from East High School in 1968. On May 30, 2003, she married LeRoy Pohlman at Mt. Calvary Church in Kimberly.
    Linda enjoyed crafts, flower arranging, wedding candles and could sew anything. She enjoyed taking photos and beautiful waterfalls. Linda was always finding a "to do" list for LeRoy in redecorating the house.
    "She made my house a home."
    Linda is survived by her husband, LeRoy Pohlman, Kimberly; her mother, Dorothy (Bayer) Hovde, Allouez; her mother-in-law, Eva Kieffer, Appleton; two stepsons, Duane (Paula) Pohlman, Wrightstown; Robbie (Lisa) Pohlman, Greenleaf; five stepdaughters, Brenda Pohlman, Wrightstown; Wanda (Steve) Ritter, Wrightstown; Debbie (Terry) Propson, Grand Chute; Idie Herlache, Greenleaf; Jackie (Jefferey) Luebeck, Shawano; three brothers, Randall (Leigh Ann) Hovde, Green Bay; Robert (Cindy) Hovde, Miami, Fl.; Richard (Mary Ellen) Hovde, Sheboygan Falls.
    Linda is further survived by her God-children, Michelle Babcock, Collin Babcock, Megan Hovde, Holly Lardinois, Christopher Hovde, Matthew Hovde; sisters-in-law, Darlene LaMarche, Menasha; Sue Greenman-Pohlman, Appleton; 17 step-grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
    Preceding Linda in death are her father, Leland Hovde; two brothers, Raymond and Ronald Hovde; a sister, Diane Hovde; paternal grandparents, Jack (Florence) Bayer; fraternal grandparents, Chester (Helen) Hovde; Aunt Sue Cotugno, Aunt Diane Blackburn, Aunt Elaine Bayer and Uncle Don Bayer.
    Gathering time with family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 3 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 413 St. John Street, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Guy A. Blair officiating. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens in Appleton. A memorial fund has been established.
    A special thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Linda.
