    Spent most of her adult years on a farm in Black Creek, WI. She is actual mother to Lois, an illegitimate child she had at the age of 14. Lois was raised by her parents and treated as a sister of Hattie throughout her youth. Lois was only told of this as an adult, on her wedding day.

    Haas, Hattie M.
    Hattie M. Haas, 99, Seymour, died peacefully early Sunday morning, April 24, 2005, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Kloehn) Stanelle, was born Jan. 7, 1906, in Forest Junction, Wis. She married George A. Haas, June 21, 1930, in Forest Junction. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1981. Hattie was a full time homemaker, raising and caring for her large family, including many foster children. She and her husband farmed for many years in Kaukauna, then moved and continued farming in the Black Creek area. Hattie enjoyed cooking, baking and babysitting. She was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church and was active for many years in projects throughout the church. She also enjoyed crocheting for her friends. Hattie loved her large family and many friends. She enjoyed visiting with everyone. She will be missed by all.
    Survivors are her six children, Ruth (Vern) Brusewitz and Ruby Kloehn, both of Neenah; Rosemary (Brian) Schroeder, Jane (T.J) Landwehr and Joyce (Douglas) Buttles, all of Seymour; and Art (Jane) Haas, Black Creek. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Lois (Larry) Samardich, Hurley; two God children, Gordon McChain Jr. and Kevin Buttles. Also survived by two sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Arlene Stanelle, Milwaukee.
    She was preceded in death by ten brothers and four sisters; one grandchild, Marcia Brusewitz; and one son-in-law, Calvin Kloehn.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, Tuesday, April 26, 2005, from 5 to 8 p.m. The visitation will continue Wednesday, April 27, 2005, after 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Seymour, 721 Pleasant Way in Seymour, until the time of service. Funeral Wednesday 11 a.m. at the church with the Reverend Dr. Bener Baysa Agtarap officiating. Burial will be at the Seymour City Cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is in charge of arrangements.
    Special thanks to the staff at Good Shepherd Home for all their wonderful care and love shown to Hattie.

    Ruby M. Kloehn, of Neenah, age 79, absent from the body, present with the Lord, she went to her eternal home on Thursday, November 17, 2011 after a brief illness.
    She was born in Kaukauna on April 17, 1932. As a small child, she moved to a farm in Black Creek. Ruby attended a country school and graduated from Seymour High School in 1950. On May 15th, 1954, she married Calvin Kloehn at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in the Town of Cicero. He preceded her in death in 1982.
    Ruby was employed at Kurz & Root Electric before staying home to raise her two daughters.
    She was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Neenah where she was a deaconess. Ruby loved children and was involved for many years in the Awana Club and Children's Church. Outside of church, she was a volunteer for the Share Program in the Community.
    Ruby is survived by her daughters: Tami (Ed) Faulks, Amy (Chuck) Towns, both of Neenah; four grandchildren: Jacob (Carolyn), Grant, Peter, April and her fiancé, Ryan; a great-grandchild, Ethan; three sisters: Ruth (Vern) Brusewitz, Rosemary (Brian) Schroeder, Joyce (Doug) Buttles; a brother, Arthur (Jane) Haas; and a brother-in-law, Tom Landwehr.
    She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Landwehr and a niece, Marcia Brusewitz.
    A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Rd., Neenah, with Dr. Harry Shields officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Calvary Bible's Awana Program and Children's Church.
    Ruby's family can't say enough wonderful things about the caring staff at Island Shores in Neenah. Thank you for treating Ruby like one of your own.

    Jane H Landwehr, 73, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 30, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. She was born May 13, 1935, to the late George and Hattie (Stanelle) Haas. On May 2, 1970, she was united in marriage to TJ Landwehr at Cicero United Methodist Church. Jane was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, was a church secretary and mentored to many youth. She was a storyteller at local libraries and many schools and was a volunteer for the Family Violence Center. Jane was Volunteer of the Year for 2006 in Brown County. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other children.
    She is survived by her husband, TJ; her stepsons, Scott (Jill) Landwehr and Matt (Melinda) Landwehr, both of Walla Walla, Wash.; grandchildren, Katie, Ashley, Dillon and Brooke; her sisters, Ruth (Vern) Brusewitz and Ruby Kloehn, both of Neenah; Rosemary (Brian) Schroeder and Joyce (Douglas) Buttles, both of Seymour; one brother, Art (Jane) Haas, Black Creek; many nieces and nephews; her sisters-in-law, Nanci (Terry) Anderson, Spring Hill, Fla.; Mary (John) Zohlen, Edgewater, Md.; and Frani (Bill) Fraser, Denver, Colo.
    She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Calvin Kloehn.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Seymour United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating. Burial in Cicero United Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
