    Knaack, Glenn H. - Glenn, age 72, of Neenah, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital Sunday, February 3, 2008. He was born March 20, 1935, in Appleton, son of the late John F. and Martha (Haufe) Knaack. He married Theda Patten October 1, 1960, sharing 47 years together. He was employed by Albany International IPF Division, formerly Appleton Wire Works for 35 years and retired in 1990.
    He was member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, United Paper Workers Union, Agewise and AARP.
    Glenn is survived by his wife Theda; a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Shelly Knaack of Land of Lakes; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Rick Meyer of Kimberly; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Eric Schaden) Meyer; Melissa (Rob) Meyer; Dennis Meyer; Brian Meyer; David (Ashley Schink) Meyer; Ashley Meyer; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Jaydon.
    He was preceded in death by a son Gregory; a sister Helen Knaack and three brothers: Donald, John and Howard.
    Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 724 E. South River St., Appleton, with the Rev. Steven Savides officiating. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
    A memorial fund has been established.
    The family would like to thank all those who were so very caring and supportive to Glenn, including the Neenah Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance, all attending physicians, St. Elizabeth Hospital staff and the Fresenius Dialysis Services of NE Wisconsin.
