    Marie Ann (Schaeuble) Ayers, 85, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, peacefully at her home. She was born November 16, 1930 in Wrightstown, WI, daughter to the late Charles and Alma (Wierschke) Schaeuble. Marie graduated from Wrightstown High School, where she played first chair trumpet with the marching band, and worked for the Village of Howard as County Clerk/Treasurer and in administration. She married Willard (Bill) Ayers on January 3, 1952 in Rochester, MN, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1985.
    She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Green Bay for over 50 years and spent most of those years teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. Once she became homebound, she began to crochet hats and scarves for people who needed them at the local schools and for one of the church projects in Haiti.
    Survivors include her daughter, Nola A. (Ayers) and Jeffrey C. Harrison, Green Bay; 2 "adopted" children, Paula Schroeder and Brian Eggebrecht; 5 grandchildren: Ashlie Seefeldt and husband, James Thompson, Brandon, Jacob and Daniel Harrison; one great-grandchild, Avery Thompson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Elton "Pat" Schaeuble, Orville "Stub" Schaeuble, Carlton "Nig" Schaeuble, Ruth, Ilene, Evylyn, Gordon, Edith; In-laws: Judy, Alice, Regina, Bill Geurts, Hugo Wendt, Joe Velicer, Florence and Harold Meyers, Francis and Henry Becker, and Vanetta and Richard Gray.
    Met on her journey by many cherished friends and family and will continue to watch over all those left behind.
    Family and friends may visit Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 120 S. Henry St., Green Bay, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. David Hatch officiating. Interment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please send perennial plants. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

    Green Bay - Nancy Anne (Schaeuble) Alsteen, age 73, went peacefully home to heaven on Saturday April 28th, 2018 surrounded by her family, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
    Nancy was born on November 8th, 1944 to parents Pat and Judy Schaeuble. She graduated from college with a degree in Nursing and moved to Green Bay, WI and accepted a position as a nurse/medical assistant. Throughout her career she worked primarily in Dermatology eventually retiring after working more than 25 years in the field.
    Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She married James Alsteen and the couple had 5 children together. Her children were always very important to her and she was very proud of them.
    Nancy was actively involved in her church for the majority of her life. She enjoyed singing, spending time outside, and being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, caring, and genuinely compassionate person.
    She is preceded in death by first husband James Alsteen and her second husband James Pegel. Her parents Elton & June (Lamers) Schaeuble, grandparents Marie & George Lamers and Charles & Alma Schaeuble, brother Terry Schaeuble, sister-in-law Raine Schaeuble, niece Charlene Schaeuble, nephew Jeremy Schaeuble, great-niece Khloe Schaeuble, as well as many aunts and uncles.
    Nancy is survived by her 5 children: JulieAnne (Tim) Bresser, Christine (Tim) Pattermann, Ken (Carrie) Alsteen, Dan Alsteen, and Nick (Jenna) Alsteen. Her 14 grandchildren: Kailey Alsteen, Sammie Younger, Cole Younger, Allison McDonald, Isabella McDonald, Edward Pattermann, Abbie Rogers, Maddie Alsteen, Finn Alsteen, Lizzie Alsteen, Gavin Alsteen, Jack Alsteen, Monroe Alsteen, and Jake Alsteen. Her 4 great-grandchildren: Micah Alsteen, Aurora Trzebiatowski, Avrielle Younger, and Liliana Samperisi. Siblings: Ron (Phyllis) Schaeuble, Cheyenne Schaeuble, Jim (Skip) Schaeuble, Steve (Barb) Schaeuble, Ken Schaeuble, Scott (Tammy) Schaeuble, Debbie (Mike) Wochinski as well as many nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be from 9-11 am followed by a memorial / celebration of life service at St. Francis Catholic Church (433 County Rd CE, Hollandtown, WI) on May 19 th . Father Willy Vandeloo will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nancy's life. The family would like to thank the staff of 6th floor ICU at St Vincent Hospital as well as Unity Hospice for the excellent care they gave Nancy.
