    Obituary:
    Robert George Witthuhn, 90, Green Bay, died peacefully at home on Dec. 12, 2011. He was born in Appleton, on Sept. 10, 1921, to George and Hattie (Glaser) Witthuhn. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School where he was a star basketball player.
    In 1948, he married Margaret McGillivray at Angelica Methodist Church and celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on June 5, 2011. He was a long time member of Bethany United Methodist Church where he was an active member of the choir for many years.
    He owned and operated Stadium Citgo across from Lambeau Field with his son Charles. Robert served in the Army Air Corps during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He belonged to the American Legion Post 337 of Pulaski. He recently enjoyed his trip on the Old Glory Honor Flight to the World War II Memorial, in Washington DC in April of this year. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, who will miss him dearly.
    He is survived by his wife Margaret; two sons, Bradley (Gail) Witthuhn and Charles (Susan) Witthuhn; three daughters, Becky Diederich, Janice (Thomas) Flegel, and Sue (David) Bernarde; one very special niece, Nancy Wood; 13 grandchildren, Ronald (Amy) Diederich, Jennie (Scott) Hoffman, Jill Witthuhn (RC Froistad), Gregory (Jessica)Diederich, Scott (Krissy) Diederich, Joseph (Katie) Witthuhn, Nicole (Jason) Fonder, Eric Witthuhn, Jaclyn (Jake) Peters, Stefanie (James) Nelson, Julie (Matthew) Flanagan, Morgan Flegel, and Brett Bernarde; 11 great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Hoffman, Nathan, Michaela, Kayli, Quinn, Kooper, Raina, and Reese Diederich, Grace Peters, Roman Nelson, and Grayson Fonder; sister and brother-in-law Charlotte and Orville Olson, and Claire McGillivray; along with many nieces and nephews.
    Robert was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Jennie McGillivray; one brother, Carl Witthuhn; one sister, Doris (Witthuhn) McGillivray; brother-in-law, Angus McGillivray; brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Rachel McGillivray, and Malcolm and Dolores McGillivray.
    Visitation will be from 10 to noon, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1150 Echo Lane, Green Bay, Wis. Services will be held at noon with The Reverend Randy Richter officiating and burial to follow immediately at Elm Grove Cemetery, Laney, Wis. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
    In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any memorials be given in Robert's memory to Bethany United Methodist Church.
