    Suprise, Margaret E.
    Margaret E. Suprise, age 83, formerly of Hortonville, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009, with her loving family by her side at her sons home in McAllen, Texas; following a courageous battle with cancer. Margaret lived in McAllen, Texas, the last four years with her son. She was born on August 22, 1925, daughter of the late Robert and Nelly (Gartlin) Jamison. She graduated from Hortonville High School in 1943. Margaret was united in marriage to Ken Suprise in 1946 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. He preceded her in death in 2005. She worked at Scholdlock in Appleton for many years. Margaret was a volunteer at St. Joseph Residence in New London.
    She was a very religious person being a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville, and their Christian Mothers. Margaret was a dedicated mother who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends; especially ham, mashed potatoes and Christmas cookies. She was the type of person who loved to help anyone in need. Mom you will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. God Bless.
    Margaret is survived by three daughters: Pat Trittin, Kimberly; Sandy (Larry) Griesbach, Mackville; Margene (Larry) Fassbender, Greenville; two sons: Ron (Estela) Suprise and Tim Suprise, both of McAllen Texas; grandchildren: Daisy (Victor) Soliz; Rene Suprise; Mike (Lisa) Fassbender; Michelle Fassbender; Mark Suprise; Bryan Suprise; Kelly Griesbach (Dan); Kevin Griesbach; Shelly Zacharias; Pam Trittin; Tina (Jacob) Wilcock; and eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mary (James) Tessen; Rita (Victor) Petit; Anna Suprise; Ruth Voster; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Doris Jamison; June (Ken) Stecker; Del Rose (Norman) Tiedt; Wilmar Fickel; Wally Hedtke and Andrew Johnson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides her parents and husband Ken, Margaret is preceded in death by a brother, Francis Jamison; a sister, Evelyn Hedtke, son-in-law, Rick Trittin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Larry Suprise, Frank Suprise, Vernon Voster, Earla Johnson; Barbara Fickel; and Hilda and Ed Katzner.
    Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Rev. Msgr. James Feely officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    A special thank you to Ron (Estela) Suprise, Tim Suprise, and the staff for their great care and concern for our mother. Also, a special gratitude to all who called, sent letters, cards and prayers to our mother while she was in Texas.

    Obituary:
    Anna Mae Suprise, 89 of Appleton, died Monday February 20, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton. She was born in Greenville, December 19, 1927, daughter of the late Robert and Nellie (Gartland) Jamison. Anna married Laronzle "Larry" Suprise on September 11, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1995.
    Anna graduated from Hortonville High School in 1945. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. Faith was a very important part of Anna's life, and she made sure it was an important part of her family also. She loved to shop and work in her garden. Anna liked to spend her weekends up north, and caring for her pets. What Anna enjoyed most was the time spent with her family, especially her grand children and great grand children.
    Anna is survived by her five children: four daughters: Kathy (Wayne) Juedes, Fox Crossing, Joan (Larry) Uhlenbrauck, Mountain, Elizabeth Kielbasa, Appleton, and Cheryl (Tim) Lecker, Town of Center; her son: Rodger (Jody) Suprise, Pine River; seven grand children: Carrie Chelberg, Christopher (Amy) Suprise, Tara (Joe) Piotrowski, Korina Kaye (fiancé Jason Neuber), Craig (Sonnet) Uhlenbrauck, Brian Uhlenbrauck (sp friend, Liz Foth), and Morgan Lecker; 13 great-grand children: Logan, Delaney, Bailee, Claire Chelberg, Ella, Helen Suprise, Makayla Lenz, Aidan Leon, Druis Kaye-O'Brien, Cody Uhlenbrauck, Jalyne Meulemans, Cole Seefeldt, and Caitlan Uhlenbrauck; two sisters: Rita Petit, Appleton, and Mary Tessen, New London; a sister in-law, Delrose (Norman) Tiedt, Clintonville; a brother in-law: Wally Hedtke, Appleton; and many other relatives and friends. Anna was further preceded in death by her twin sons, Gerald and Larry; daughter, Diane; son in-law, Frank "Mike" Kielbasa; three sisters: Margaret Suprise, Evelyn Hedtke and Ruth Voster; and her brother, Francis Jamison.
    Mass of Christian burial for Anna will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday February 23, 2017 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W Lawrence St, Appleton, with Fr Jim Leary OFM CAP officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday morning beginning at 9:00 until 10:45 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
    Anna's family would like to extend a special thank you to those who visited her at The Bridges of Appleton; Dr. Sheila Thiel; Dr William Conkright and Dr. John Swanson Jr; from Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology; the entire staff at The Bridges of Appleton; the staff on the seventh floor at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton; ThedaCare at Home Hospice for all of their loving care and compassion. And especially to Anna's daughter, Elizabeth, for caring for her mother for the past 10 years.

    Obituary:
    Ruth Agnes Voster, 85 of Appleton, died peacefully Saturday September 5, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born in Appleton, November 23, 1929, daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Gartlin) Jamison. Ruth married Vernon Voster on June 15, 1949. Vernon preceded her in death on February 22, 2004.
    Ruth was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton. Her faith and devotion to the Lord was a very important part of her life. Ruth enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her garden. Ruth mainly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
    Ruth is survived by her five children, Sherry (Ervin) Wegner, Neenah, Jean Voster (special friend Michelle), Breed, WI; Michael (Kathy Voster, Appleton, Lynne (Rory Moore, Greenville, and Lori (Andy) Vance, Appleton; nine grandchildren, Reggie (Shannon) Wegner, Milwaukee, Rodney (Sarah) Wegner, Pittsburgh, PA; Ryan (Elizabeth) Wegner, Chicago, IL; Scott (Kristen) Voster, Appleton, Jill (Riley) King, Appleton, Megan Moore (fiancé Cole Younger), New London, Steven (Kristina )Moore, Shreveport, LA; Jeffrey (Melany) Moore, Green Bay, and Jess Vance, Appleton; 10 great-grandchildren, Declan, Terrence, Waylon, Lucas, Maxwell, Callie, Dylan, Alex, Nolan, and Faustina; and three sisters, Mary (Jim) Tessen, New London, Rita Petit, Appleton, and Anna Suprise, Appleton. She is further survived by her special friend, Elroy LeFeber, and many nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by two sisters, and a brother.
    Mass of Christian burial for Ruth will be 11:30AM on Thursday September 10, 2015 at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W Marquette St, Appleton, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Visitation will be at the church Thursday beginning at 9:00 until 11:00 AM. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

    Obituary:
    Gerald Suprise, 62, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Brewster Village.
    Jerry was born on July 24, 1949 to Laronzle "Larry" and Anna (Jamison) Suprise. He was always a happy go lucky guy and would always greet you with a hand shake and a smile. Jerry liked watching movies especially westerns and football. His favorite color was yellow and he loved going to the activities that Brewster Village provided.
    Jerry is survived by his mother Anna Suprise, his siblings, Rodger (Jody) Suprise of Pine River, Kathy (Wayne) Juedes of the Town of Menasha, Joan (Larry) Uhlenbrauck of Suring, Elizabeth Kielbasa of Appleton and Cheryl (Tim) Lecker of Appleton, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Gerald was preceded in death by his father, an infant sister Diane Suprise an infant twin brother, Larry Suprise and a brother-in-law, Frank Kielbasa.
    The funeral liturgy for Jerry will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH (410 W. Lawrence St.) with Fr. David Funk, OFM. CAP officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Brewster Village for everything they have done for him, especially Julie Vandeyacht for the 33 years she cared for Jerry.
